Raritan Hospital For Animals is THE GREATEST CLINIC!
by Manuela R.
We have 2 small dogs, Miniature Pinscher, and recently the female one had puppies.
We have been taking our dogs to this Clinic for some time now, and I can gladly say that is the BEST Animal Hospital we have ever been to!
WONDERFUL doctors, very compassionate and VERY professional!
They really care about animals, and we feel like they are a second family to our beloved dogs!
My dogs have been going there for exam routines and even surgery! They are so caring, that it makes me feel very comfortable and with a peace of mind. They will always call to check on how your pet is doing after a visit.
We lost one puppy with 3 weeks-old, and we took there to be cremated, and they were SO supportive, that we even got a sympathy card that had a paw printed from the puppy... That was the kindest act I have ever seen.
Also the price is fair, really fair.
I tried couple of clinics before, to be more exact I tried 4 different clinics before going to Raritan (since it's not so close from where I live), but all 4 clinics could never compete with Raritan Animal Hospital, in all aspects.
I would proudly recommend them to anyone!

Excellent and caring
by John W.
We have been using the services of Raritan Animal Hospital since 1977. Can't imagine trusting our dogs' health to anyone else. Even the newest staff are great vets, not just senior doctors like Dr Quinn and surgeon Dr Laffoon.
Several years ago, our 19+ year old Husky mix Kyloo reached the end. I will never forget that when the vet injected her, she said, "This is only a shell -- Kyloo will live in your heart forever." That kind of caring transcends the pragmatic issue of how they care for your 4-legged family members. I recommend this practice if you are anywhere near their offices.

A Wonderful Hospital
by Anonymous
I had such a wonderful experience at this animal hospital. Unfortunately, I came upon them when I had to put my dog down after 11 years. Dr. Ross and his staff had such a wonderful bedside manner. The experience, though painful for my family and I, was not painful for my dog.I would highly recommend Raritan Animal Hospital for your pet.

The Raritan Animal Hospital provides excellent and compassionate care. I have been using them for years with all of my shih tzus and have always been very comfortable with the advice and care given. The boarding service is wonderful. My animals were well cared for and healthy upon my return.

Outstanding!!
by Shannon G.
It is rare that you find animal care of this quality these days, it seems! The doctors are all very compassionate, loving, caring and knowlegeable. Since taking in our latest stray, we have spent quite a lot of time at the hospital, and the doctors and vet techs all developed a relationship with my pet, and ask about her when we bring our other pets in. They take the time to get to know each of their patients - and the patients' owners - and they really seem to remember us every time we go in. It's a friendly, warm atmosphere, with attentive and WONDERFUL staff. We couldn't ask for a better group to care for our babies!

OUTSTANDING
by Sam J.
My little walking stomach (half pug, half french bulldog), decided he wanted to eat a little rat poison. Thankfully I noticed the missing poison and saw that he had gain access to an area which is normally closed off, looked at him licking his lips, then I put 2 and 2 together. I then looked up a vet close by after learning my vet office was "unavailable", and called Raritan. They took him in right away, and treated him. Everyone there was very friendly and extremely helpful. I am glad to say that I have found a new vet. Highly recommend for pet owners of Edison.

Caring Animal Hospital
by Lynn R.
We started using Raritan Animal Hospital as a married couple for our dogs in 1991 with our first pet Roxy, then we added Goliath in 1993 and Sable in 1998. Since 2003, we lost Goliath and Roxy within 2 weeks of each other. Dr. Salatiello and the staff at Raritan were very comforting, loving and understanding with our loss and made the passing of our two beloved dogs easier to transition down to Sable our only dog left. In 2005, my husband found Digger wandering the streets on a hot summer day and brought him home and into our family. He loves being a patient at Raritan and they love him. In June of 2006, our daughter asked for a puppy and on July 2nd our newest addition was born and came home on 8/13/06 and we introduced Leila Lu our Blue Great Dane from Michigan into our family. Over the 15 years of our marriage since getting our first dog Roxy we have had 5 dogs and I as a teenager (more than 27 years with our family pets) Raritan has always been there for us. You cannot ask for a better animal hospital with such a well organized staff, including the love and attention of the vet techs and of course the love of the Doctors. Why anyone would go anywhere else other than one of their four animal hospitals is beyond me, they give full service and attention to your pets and your needs and they are more than Number #1 in our book.

Excellent practice
by Patty l.
My dog has been boarding there for years. They always make me feel like he doesnt miss me when I'm away. I almost think he prefers it there than home. The staff has always been pleasant and the Vets are always there when I have a crisis. My dog has a heart condition and they diagnosed it right away and he is doing better than he was before the medication.
PROS: Excellent care and friendly staff

I used this veterinarian only because the checkup was offered for free if you adopted from the Edison Animal Shelter. Boy am I glad I did. The doctors were all great and very sweet. We did wait for about a half hour, but for a free appointment I can't complain. The exam rooms were extremely clean and the doctor was kind, gentle, and very patient. He knew we were there on the free visit but we weren't treated as second-class citizens at all. Highly recommended!

When our dog Sally got to sick, we decided we had to put her down. She was 18 years old and was in pain. My husband took her HERE and they were wonderful. They were very caring for the littlest member of our family. About a week after we had to put her down, I recieved a card in the mail from the Vet. Inside the card the staff had put Sally's paw print. If was this kind act that made me realize what a wonderful place this is. We recently got a new puppy and we take him there now too.

I'm very found of pets and have 2 dogs and a cat in my house and 2 in my aunts. I take these cuites quiet ofetn. This place seems to reasonably qualified and good at work too. The have a very sophisticated environment than any around that place. Problem is that the wait itme is quiet high. You need to get the dates a week before so that you are fine and safe. Its not much to ask for their work.
PROS: Sophisticated and equipped
CONS: Wait time is high

Very Compassionate
by Anonymous
We actually used them for the first AFTER our cat died. They were very nice and compassionate and made it seem okay. They took the cat and did the final arrangements with dignity and took care of it as quickly as possible for us. We now use them for our dog and they are just as great and attentive.
