It can be a real toss up when it comes to furniture stores, but my husband and I were pleasantly surprised with Room and Home. We had previously ordered a sectional at Ashley 6 weeks ago which they failed to deliver 4 or 5 times because of "overbooking". Finally we decided to pickup because we were so frustrated by their delivery timeframe and they wanted to charge us $30 to pick up! We demanded our money back and came to Room and Home. They were up front and told us the sectional would take 3 weeks to come in. It actually came in 2 and we had our sectional a few days later with no problems. We don't mind waiting as long as the store is up front with us, which Room and Home was. If Ashley would have been up front from the beginning, we wouldn't have walked out on them. Anyways, the sectional looks great in our house and we will be coming back in the next few months to buy a dining room table.

Got my furniture within 7 days, like promised. Delivery was fine but there was a small scratch on the legs of one of the sofas, but they sent a repair tech the next day to fix it. Overall good experience, would recommend.

I brough my LR set and simply, it has yet to be delivered. I was offered credit, which a week later has not appeared on my Visa. I made the mistake of not paying attention to the other recent reviewers, don't you do the same thing. will never look at this store much less buy from there.

I shopped at the 'traditional' store and altho' I had a good delivery experience what I found afterwards is that I grossly overpaid for the multiple rooms of furniture that I had purchased! Example: the Monticello Bar Set was tagged (sale price) as individual pieces totaling $5,000. I should have asked for an itemized breakdown because I was led to believe that because I was purchasing so much (over 10k), all of the items were drastically reduced. Well... two months later, I received a flyer from another furniture dealer selling the same exact bar set for one low price of $1999.00! OUCH! I was and am still, sick inside. Boy do I feel 'had!' Our bedroom set and mattress are of such poor quality, that it has already shown signs of wear. I had my first adult bedroom set for 25 years and the only thing that I was dissatisfied with was it's outdated style! I shopped around and in hindsight, I should have stuck with a more reputable store like R&F.

They promised me delivery in 7-10 days and they coudn't! They weren't even accommdating to my schedule since they messed up. Most of their stuff is available online for cheaper prices. Don't do business with them! They take your money upfront, so they don't care.

I bought quite a bit of furniture from ABC Home in May. Their contemporary showroom is absolutely stunning and is one of the best looking furniture stores in New Jersey. The atmosphere is very pressure-free and gives the impression of a friendlier, smaller operation which was the primary reason for my purchasing from them. Delivery time was approximately 8 weeks, which was as promised. They were very flexible and worked with me on the day of delivery. Prices were very competitive. I believe they are in the middle of a name change to Room & Home, but the salesperson I asked said ownership is staying the same. They also have another showroom two buildings down which is more traditional. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase, and I would highly recommend them in the future.

This establishment is conveniently located in a stretch of furniture stores on routes 1 & 9. The selection is quite impressive and the prices average from outstanding to moderate. If you are looking for a unique piece for a Mediterranean style home this is the place you should visit. Their selection of bars is expansive. I found the sales staff to be helpful and the store to be clean
