On The Side

I have been here several times, but never for a full day of services before. It was great from start to finish! I had my fingers and toes done, a fabulous facial, and a killer massage. My birthday is coming and I know what I'm asking for...a gift card for another massage!

I do like the decor, but the layout is odd and there is always too much activity in the lobby area. The space is a bit crowded and I always feel a little clostraphobic (not exactly a great feeling at a place where relaxation is expected). I have had some good massages (from a guy there) and a really weak hot stone massage (from a woman). I've had a couple of OK pedicures, but their spa pedi chairs are awkward. Everyone is very nice, though.

I've been to On The Side many times and every time it was an extremely pleasurable experience. Luis is the best masseuse. He can always feel the tension in my body and is very good about working it out. I wouldn't go to anyone else. I haven't been there in awhile and I miss not going.

The Best! I go to a lot of spas in ny/nj and On The Side is by far the best, from the comfortable environment to the "down to earth" staff. I have been going there for four years and i have never had a service that I wasn't happy with. The new Nail Spa is a perfect addition to the facility. If you've never been I highly suggest you try them, do book ahead for weekend appointments though.

I booked my first facial and was very happy, with the service from connie. She went above and beyond to comfort me. The facial was so relaxing. I would deffinently book avgain at on the side day spa.

I just went to On The Side for the first time. I was a little nervous after reading H.C.'s review, but I must say, I completely disagree. I had no problems with my appointment and the staff was very nice.The setting is very stylish and relaxing. Misti was my massage therapist and was out of this world!! I had the "arnica friction" massage which was just fantastic. I would definitely recommend this spa.

I've booked numerous appointments at this spa and have been upset each and every time. I have shown up and the staff has no recollection of my appointment ever being booked (more than once). When I've shown up with a gift certificate as payment I have been treated like I don't matter. I was appalled to over hear "She won't tip" on my last visit. This establishment does not deserve my business or anyone else's.

On the side will make you feel like the main course so to say. They pamper you over and over again with the sometimes forgotten things that most people desire. They are constantly asking you if they could bring you anything or make your stay that more enjoyable. I would suggest calling ahead and making a reservation especially for the staff members that you would like to request.

This place is very nice. I went once and found the place to be very pleasant, clean, and inviting. The services are lovely. I got a massage and loved every minute of it. They don't make you feel at all uncomfortable there either. The staff is friendly, the place is clean, and the services are great!
