Not the same since they became VCA

by T L. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 9,869

Ever since Closter became a franchise of VCA, the level of care and attention has dropped significantly. They treat you like a customer at the DMV and what's worse is that the VCA has brought in new fees for everything. I took my dog there for years and am now shopping around for a new vet. Too bad because they have the right staff but the wrong way of doing things.

Closter Animal Hospital

by Karen D. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 766

This animal hospital is very good. Animal lovers who give all they can for the well being of their four legged friends. A professional staff and Dr. Maida is our favorite vetinerarian there. We have had three dogs and countless cats taken care of here. The service is good and the animals well cared for. Like all medical practices the cost is not cheap, but they are average compared to the others in the area. If you love your pets we recommend the Closter Animal Hospital and their vets.
