This church has a monthly service for "specially abled" people with a short service geared to everyone with special needs and their families. We just attended the Christmas mas and enjoyed it thoroughly. Take the whole family and don't be afraid if someone acts out or can't sit still the entire time, nobody will mind and all you will see is smiling, understanding faces!

The Church of the Nativity in Midland Park is a very convenient location for our family. We can be at the church within 5 minutes to attend mass. There is a strong sense of community as demonstrated by the parishioners who make everyone feel welcomed.

The priests are lively, inspirational, friendly and very community-oriented. They go out of their way to include the people in many of the church activities, whether it be from altar serving to reading to ushering or whatever needs to be done.

The mass times are accesible to everyone who needs to attend service. Just don't be surprised if it becomes very crowded especially Saturday nights. The noon mass on Sunday seems to have the least number of people in attendance.

There is also a school--St. Thomas More--attached to the church that allows for more community-minded avtivites associated with the school children. Daily masses during the week are held in the chapel.

Overall, it's a smaller-sized church with a large community that makes this place lively.

PROS: Wonderful community, friendly priests
CONS: none
