Home Depot in Mahwah on Rte. 17 is an impressive store. First, it's huge. Second, it doesn't share space with any other store... it's on its own lot which makes a big difference. Third, a huge parking lot shows how many people it can accomodate.

Even though it's on Rte. 17, it's not on the busy section which I totally appreciate. Getting in and out is far easier than I imagined.

The selection is immense and everything you need is available. My wife is totally enamoured with the garden section. Huge and lovely.

The staff, for the most part, is very friendly, except those odd few who choose to be grouchy.

There is a self check-out service for those who don't like waiting in line.

All in all, a great place to get all your home hardware and garden needs.

PROS: Huge store, lots of selections to choose from
CONS: Some of the staff can be testy
