Schnall Stanley J Md - Dermatology Associates

My daughter's and son's acne was cured by Iris. She is a personable woman. Takes her time and answers questions.
BUT - the office staff is terrible. RUDE!!! Harsh, Impersonal
and they over book. The wait to been seen is on avarage 1 hour
and the staff hardly looks up from front the desk. If you are looking for personalized service do not use this office. If you care only about results do try them.

By this point I have been to almost all the dermatologists within 30 miles of my home in Marlboro. A friend told me not to mess around anymore- go to the best. She was right. Dr. Schnall may be a little quick and may not have the best "bed-side manner," but he is certainly knows his stuff. He correctly diagnosed two conditions I had that all the prior doctors had mis-diagnosed- and he did it in about one minute. Now I am cured- finally. By the way...my friend who recommended Schnall has been a patient for over 20 years and Dr. Schnall found a skin cancer on her husband in 1991. Probably saved his life

Took my daughter to him for botox for sweating so we were only making appts with Dr. Schnall, no one else. Usually you can get an appt in a week or so, sometimes you wait 15 minutes and sometimes an hour to go in, and yes, he is a nice man, very pleasant and easy going but kind of rushes you, answers your questions but not a lot of explanation. The women in the office staff can be rude for the most part, this kid Tony who works there is very nice though. He is the only dermatologist in the area who is recognized for using botox for sweating and seems to know his stuff and seems to do alot of them.

I have been to this office 3 times, twice with Iris Dubetsky, the PA for my daughter and once with Dr Schnall for myself. I found that she gave me prescription creams and antibiotics which I think did not help my daughter much at all and so I stopped going. But when I saw him for myself, I found that he was much better. He seems to know his field of practice. I did not have a hard time getting an appt nor did I have to wait more than 1/2 hour in the office when I went to see him. The staff is NOT very friendly but very business-like and just seem to go about their routine. I don't think it is the best office (staff-wise) but I did like him better than the last 2 dermatologists that I saw, which were both so busy and not worth the wait. There don't seem to be many dermatologists around, especially not in the area. He has a better bedside manner and seems to care more. I would definitely go back again but only to see Dr Schnall.

It's hard to find a good dermatologist, and Dr. Schnall definitely is one. But, be warned - it's really difficult to get an appointment and virtually impossible to get one on short notice. Also, the staff are always busy and sometimes can get quite rude, especially if you ask them too many questions. Even if you get to your apointment on time, you still end up waiting for what seems like forever, and then you get to see the doctor for what seems like two minutes. However, it's still worth coming here, since Dr.Schnall has a charming bedside manner and really knows his stuff.

Dr. Schnall's office is always overbooked. You will never get your appoinment time. Once inside the dr didnt seem to be concerned with my needs. He tried to sell me additional procedures I wasnt there for. The staff wasnt that friendly eithier. I will be looking for a new dermatologist.

Stanley Schnall might be a great dermatologist, but you will never find out because he never has an available appointment. When I called about a skin condition, they tried to hook me up with the Dermatologist in training they had. She was very rude and acted like she knew it all. She prescribed some ointment and antibiotics for me and sent me on my way. My condition only worsened so I went to another dermatologist who told me the ointment and antibiotics she gave me were useless. They also keep trying to push you to buy their Stanley Schnall products which I found annoying.
