I went with my sister when they adopted a puppy for my favorite nephew. I was very impressed with this shelter. The animals were in clean environments and the people in the place, despite that some were volunteer and not paid, were so nice and really act as if they care about where these animals are and where the end up. They have a place where you can interact with pups so you know you bring home a new member of the family.

This is the best Animal Shelter I have been to. I wanted to pick up a new puppy for my daughters birthday and Animal Shelter Burlington was the place I went. It shows the animals are not really treated like animals but are given plenty of space and clean water. They also have a secluded outside area where the dogs can go outside and run. I was very happy with my selection.

12 years ago we sdopted our black lab here and i have been recommending them ever since, they are the county shelter and they do everything in their power to place pets rather than euthanze them. Sometimes they are so crowded they are without choice and it is clear that this is a painful task for this loving staff. I wholeheartedly reccommend adopting frome here!!
