Awesome location. Something for every age. This is a huge science museum. TheIMAX theater which they say is the largest in the US. It's in Liberty State Park, and you can take the ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island right from the park without having to go into Manhattan. Also, if you park at the science center, then you can park free in the other lots in the park, when you go to the Statue the same day, or visa versa.

All exhibits at this museum are hands on and interactive science exhibits. Kids love this place because it is like a giant playground. Adults like that it is run well and that the kids are really involved and learning. This is a great place to bring your kids or grandkids.

I love this place. I've been here four times now, and I've enjoyed it just as much. The activities are always changing, so if you don't go for a while there will always be new events.

What I like about Liberty Science Center is that it's more of a hands-on, learn from experience type of science museum. This is an excellent place to get kids more interested in science.

The IMAX theater inside is also a blast, with the huge screen and the feeling that you're actually in the movie. Very cool.

Highly recommended.

This is a great place for kids to go to to learn. There is a touch tunnel that is pitch black and to go from one end to the next, you must have one hand on the side and one on the floor. Presentations are also educational and is highly recommended for young children. Everything here engages children into the world of science and will enhance their curiousity.

Liberty Science Center is comparable to the New York Hall of Science in Queens. Liberty Science Center also has things that the Hall of Science does not, like an Imax theater. It is situated at a great location and has a great view of downtown Manhattan across the harbor and the nearby Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty. One good thing is that if you're a member of the New York Hall of Science, you get free admission to Liberty Science Center as well.

Liberty Science center is one of the best museums I have been to. The museum is huge and contains many exhibits. This is a great place for families to take their children and especially for school trips. Groups can sign up for a tour guide which is highly recommended. The museum is very hands on and encourages kid participation. The IMAX movie is a must see!

Very nice. I wouldn't recommend for kids under 5 because they'll just be running everywhere. It is costly but you could look for deals. They have a nice dome movie theater and great interactive gadgets. There is alot you can get out of it but you need to be able to read. They also hold disection classes and other hands on classes but you have to call them personally. There is also plenty of parking.

The Liberty Science Center is one of the best science museums in the tri state area. It has many hands-on exhibits, which are great for children, as well as videos, demonstrations, and much more. They have exhibits on biology, physics, astronomy, and more. A popular exhibit is a pitch black maze where one has to use his or her other senses to navigate. They also have many exhibits dealing with space travel, which fascinates adults and children alike.
