River Belle & River Queen

I was looking for "something different" when looking for a venue for our wedding last September. We went down to the shore to look at places and came accross The River Belle, in Pt Pleasant. They sent us to their main office at the River Queen, where we were invited in to watch a video, see pictures and tour the boat. The dinner packages all sounded delicious, and the prices are quite affordable, including dinner and open bar. It was the perfect place for us! We had our ceremony right on the boat, followed by the most wonderful cruise around Barnagate bay. The food was excellent, the staff was friendly and helpful, seeing that I (the bride) was well taken care of. :-) Our guests had a blast, and loved the unique~ness of being on a Riverboat! One might worry about being on a boat that some people would be ill, but noone got sea sick, the waters are very calm. :-) The main party took place upstairs, and the dining was downstairs. There were 3 decks as well, where the guests could hang out and watch the sunset, and later, a beautiful red moon! When it came time for dessert, besides the most delicious wedding cake EVER, they baked fresh chocolate chip cookies - served warm! It doesn't get better than that!!

I would reccomend the River Queen to anyone looking for a place to host your wedding / party that your guests will never forget!
