Yellow Duck Nursery

My 3 yr old twins started Yellow Duck Last year. The boys & I had such a wonderful positive and supportive experience, in Miss Antonietta's class. They entered a class with ease. The teachers and staff were welcoming and helped out children gain the independence they needed to go into a class in January without me. The classroom was a warm, fun and educational; environment. They returned this Fall and we are off to another great year. Thank-you Directors and teachers.

This is my son's 1st year at Yellow Duck Preparatory, after my 3 children attended their camp. I love his teacher, Miss Michele. She taught in public schools for 10 yrs and she is fantastic. The Directors, Joan and Anne are always walking through the classrooms and their doors are always open to talk with them. As a parent that accessibility and involvement of directors is invaluable for me and my child. I would recommend this school to everyone!

I signed my children up at Yellow Duck Prep School because of the owner, Joan Klein and her co-director/daughter, Anne. I loved the warm family environment. My kids, now 8 & 9 excel at school. You won't find more caring Directors anywhere! One parent out of 100's wrote false comments here & it upsets me. One Director (out of 3) decided she couldn't go from part-time to full-time, so her upset friend wrote untrue comments. That Director was a teacher, who trained to become a Director. She never had anything to do with writing curriculum. The main lifelong Director, Joan started this elite pre-school & she is still there along with her daughter/co-director for the past 2 decades. We love this school

This was an excellent run school because of the director who had been there for 16 yrs. They let her go and she was the ONLY reason people liked it . She knew every parents' name, and all the students. Her curriculum was great and now its gone. I went there for 6 years and the owner never even said Hello to anyone, not even my children. And now she is running the school? I won't be sending my baby there that's for sure!!!

CONS: No director who even tries to get to know the children

Yellow Duck is a very nice nursery school for children. They are very clean and organized. The staff was extremely warm and friendly and loves the children. There program was very well run and had a great balance of learning and play. They offered a few different programs to fit your schedule needs. The prices were reasonable as well.
