.

I called this morning to inquire about their services and they suggested I make an appointment rather than walk in. I arrived right at 11, my appointment time, only to be rudely told to pick out my nail polish. I asked if I could get my legs waxed first as it seemed to make more sense to me and he just bluntly said no. I bit my tongue and picked out my polish only to be told to wait around till someone was done. Finally, this Asian guy called me up to his table and proceeded to tell me that I should get tips done - every nail salon I've been to compliments me on my natural nails and he got all persistent and rude cause I had one broken nail. Anyways, he then proceeded to do my manicure without any soaking...the sound of the file on my nails made me cringe - not fun. Once he finished rushing through my manicure, he told me to go down to the pedicure stations at the end of the room. When I got there, a seemingly grumpy girl asked me if i was getting waxed and then without a word motioned to her friend to take care of me.

This is where the fun continued as this young girl attempted to wax my lower legs using a small applicator stick and narrow cloths - her kit was clearly meant for eyebrow and other small area waxing. She then took FOREVER waxing my legs one small section at a time - instead of flipping me over, she proceeded to wax the back of my legs by rotating and twisting my legs!!! I'm not an acrobat dag gonnit! Once that madness ended, I was tempted to end my 'relaxing lunch' and get a pedicure elsewhere another time...but being me, I ended up clenching my teeth and moving on with the madness.

I'm actually glad I stayed cause the young lady who waxed my legs was actually a very good pedicurist. She was very thorough and did a great job with the polish (she looked kind of Hispanic/Asian, didn't get her name). However, I don't recommend the place to anyone - as far as I could see, the tools weren't really cleaned in between customers, they reused the files and buffers and I didn't really see them clean the pedicure tubs. So I'm definitely NOT going back as the overall experience was not relaxing or fun and took 2 hours. Eek

This salon is very clean and neat. The prices are very good compared to other slaons. The employees are very accomodating and friendly. They always have enough staff on to accomodate their costumers, which I think is very important. I usually go there for a fill and am very happy with the outcome. I have recommened this nail salon to a few of my friend and they also have been happy with there service. They also do waxing, but I have never endulged yet. The wait time is not bad and they try to squeeze you in if you do not have an appointment.
