I wish I would have read these reviews before walking into WOB this past weekend. I went looking for a new bra and hoping to find a place that I could trust to do continued business. I did not feel listened to by my sales associate. She basically brought me bras and seemed to overlook my concerns. Stupidly, I spent $68.00 on a bra anyway. I left feeling uncomfortable about my purchase. Foolishly, I didn't ask about the return policy. I decided that $68.00 was too much money to spend to feel uncomfortable. I returned to the store 30 minutes later with the bra still in the bag. I had looked at my receipt at that point and knew about "All Sales are Final." I went back hoping to work something out. What I didn't know was how unreceptive and rude the owner/manager of the store could be. She responded obnoxiously, almost berating me for my even suggesting that I return the bra. I was actually speechless. By the way, this was in front of other customers and my 10 year old daughter. After she was done, she did half heartedly offer to exchange it for another size, which I took her up on as I had felt more comfortable in the other bra. I left quickly. I was so irritated that I called her when I got home. I told her she had lost a customer for good less because of her inflexibility around returns and more because she was just so obnoxious about it. She remained unapologetic. Look, no one wants to spend their hard earned money and then be treated like garbage. I guess she is not worried about turning customers away in this economy. Me, I can find other places to shop.

I was reccommended by a friend and was told to expect to pay a lot but after reading these reviews I've changed my mind and won't even bother going. It wasn't the reviews themselves but the responses from the bussiness. The customers always right even if there not and to actually say the custumer owes us an apology is not good bussiness.

If you want to be robbed save a trip and just hand over your purse to a theif. I went there with a friend to get a bra for my wedding dress. I tried on 3 at the store in River Edge. The saleswoman gave me 2 of the same styles with a different cup size to try. One of them was marked down by $45. One was $140.00, the other $95!!!!!!! 140 bucks for a corset type bra!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When i asked what the difference in price was she took the bra up front came back and told me there was a mistake and the bra was not 95 like as marked but 140!!! what happened to point of sale prices????? Once she told me it was the more expensive price - not the price it was marked there was no way i was going to give them my money. Even if it was really 140 - they should have honored the price that it was marked. My friend didnt want to give them her money either and declined to look for a bra as well for her dress. When i told the saleswoman i wasnt going to purchase it - her attitude changed a little and she told me that they usually charge a fitting fee!!!!!!!!!!! It's waived if you purchase the bra but because they spend time with you - they charge a fee!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She never mentioned this to us when we walked in the door!! My mouth dropped when she said that, and we couldn't leave the store fast enough.
I try to give my business to smaller stores especially with the economy the way that it is - but this place is a complete ripoff, and if they go out of business - they totally deserve it!!!

I am so sorry to hear of this situation. I can't imagine what happened. This is totally out of character for my fitters and I wish I was there at the time. My stores have performed over 1 million bra fittings and this is so unusual. I am happy at least you were fitted properly and comfortable with your purchase.

I just discovered that I paid $65 for a bra that lists for $36.99, and that I found online for around $25 on dozens of sites. I would be happy to pay the MSRP because of the fitting help, but 43 percent more?

This place was recommended to me by a friend. I read the reviews here and was skeptical but I have a hard time finding bras & bathing suits that fit really well and are comfortable and look good. I decided to give it a try and that if I encountered any rudeness or pressure to buy something I didn't want I'd simply leave.

I'm so glad I gave the place a chance- I don't understand what the negative reviews are about. The saleswomen were very friendly and patient. I spent most of the time in the dressing room while a saleswoman kept bringing me different bras to try. She fitted me, made suggestions, asked me what I liked and didn't like about my current bra, and then made countless trips back and forth with different styles as I tried to narrow down what I wanted. I never felt any pressure to buy anything, and when we moved on to bathing suits I declined a few styles without event trying them on- and at no time did she try to pressure me or seem exasperated.

I left there with 3 new bras and a bathing suit that fits so well I want to go back for a 2nd. I tried to find the bathing suit online to see if there are other colors but I can't even find this one anywhere online in this size.

To the one reviewer who said he was upset because the staff showed concern over the customers' privacy- the changing rooms are small and the 'door' is a heavy curtain on each one. That's just the way it is, and if I were you I wouldn't take it personally.

I don't know why there's drama on here but give the place a try, my experience was very good. They are expensive, but I don't mind paying for the kind of service I got this weekend.

And there's a fairly large sign right at the cash register that says ALL SALES FINAL that's pretty hard to miss. And I'm glad, because I wouldn't want to be buying undergarments that strangers were allowed to take home and wear and then return.

I went in the store today and was greeted with nastiness. I was looking for lingerie for possible photo shoots so the lady said "you can't go in there you have to go in the swimwear section section. There are women changing. Is there anything I can show you.?" So I said " I didn't know this was a women's only store." The lady said " It isn't. There are women changing here. I'm not going to jeaopardize the respect of my customers. or something to that effect. Then I hear another lady say" Close that curtain." Why is someone changing out in the open when anyone can walk in? There are dressing rooms with curtians/doors so why the person was not using them I have no idea but it is not my fault and should have not been taken out on me. When you go to Macy's or any other store that has dressing/changing rooms do you see the customers changing in the middle of the store out in the open? I thought it was illegal to try on lingerie because of health/sanitary/body fluid concerns. I will not be going back to that store or their other store for that matter. Someone should tell the owner to take a class on business etiquette and how to treat people.

I was very happy with the service I received this week at WOB. It was my first visit. Sandy helped me find several bras that fit well (I'm a 38DD) and looked great. She also was quick to tell me which bras didn't look good on me. I purchased two bras. Both are very comfortable. I will be a repeat customer.

Don't shop here. I'm a nurse in a surgery center. One of our pt.'s couldn't find the bra we recommended and she found it at WOB. When she showed it to me on the day of surgery, I gasped!! I picked up the bra (2 of them) for her at the Walmart near my house, she had 2 that she got at WOB. IDENTICAL bra's, Best Form company, same tags. One was marked $40.00, and one $7.99.

I am sorry to hear this but I am unaware of this situation. My prices are higher on some and lower on others. I am glad you were fitted properly and were comfortable with the bra. Please visit my June sidewalk sale where thousands of bras are $20 each, 3 for $50. Regular prices for the sidewalk sale bras are up to and over $100. Thank you for your feedback and I hope you visit my store again for that perfect fit.

I was fairly uncomfortable with one of the bras I purchased but the sales person (who I later found out was the owner) urged me to purchase it. Well it was a clunker. Within 15 minutes of wearing I was so uncomfortable in it I had to remove it. When I called the store to see if anything could be done (including me exchanging it for the other style I purchased which was about $30 more) I was met with rudeness and lack of flexibility. Not only would she not hear of any way to exchange this item , she told me "she was surprised I purchased this and she told me all sales were final" . While in the store I was not made aware of that second fact... Since there are plenty of other places to be fitted for bras (including one about a 10 min ride away) I will not be returning here.

Every customer means the world to me. Sometimes, a customer can wear a bra or corset for about an hour during a dress fitting elsewhere. When it doesn't look right with the dress, they bring it back to me with perspiration stains. For sanitary reasons, I cannot and will not re-sell worn merchandise to my customers. Other stores do, but I don't. I feel just as badly for this customer and hope she does re-consider visiting my store or this will be a loss for both of us.

This customer stands out in my mind due to her abusive behavior toward me. She tried the bathing suit on and wouldn't have bought it if it had a hole. She damaged the suit but I offered to repair it. She became so abusive that I was frightened into replacing it, After I gave her the replacement, the abuse continued. What a miserable person!

Went to return damaged merchandise (a $110 bathing suit with a hole in it !!!!) and the owner of the store made it personal. She had the audacity to directly accuse me (she even explicitly said "I'm saying it to your face") of damaging the merchandise myself, of harassing her (Can you believe it? That I was harassing her !!!!) and finally yelling at me to "get out of the store". The whole time | was in the store (that is before I was kicked out) the owner was ranting and raving about how she works hard and doesn't deserve this harassment and that she is doing me a favor (the favor being that after 10 minutes of ranting and raving on her part, she condescendingly did me the favor of exchanging her defective bathing suit with a new one but to give me my money back? Out of the question !!!). I have never had such a horrible experience. I left the store being yelled at by two "bullies" They were so friendly and nice when they were swiping my VISA but the idea of returning a customer's money (even when it was clearly their fault because of the defective merchandise) showed their true colors. This is so strange. I am delighted to replace merchandise if there is a defect. It just happens to happen. I hope this customer re-considers my store as she is extremely important to me. I wonder if she wrote feedback to the wrong store as I am confused by this feedback.

This is one of those life saving places for gals with extremely large (or very small) or just hard to fit busts. THey've been here for decades tucked on an odd little street in RIver Edge. They now also have a store in Wyckoff.

My girlfriend blew up breast wise after 3 babies and the only bras she could find looked like Granny's cast offs only worse and they still didn't fit her correctly.

This place saved her life. They have an extensive collection of odd sizes from AA-J cup and 30-54.

They also offer gorgeous lingerie, peignoirs, bustiers, bras that enhance, bras that reduce. They are expert fitters which is something every woman should have when buying a bra.

PROS: Best selection of hard to find sizes anywhere
