Olde York Country Club

The country club is a hidden gem, we found it when we moved into Chesterfield and have since joined. The pool is great in the summer and the course is very well cared for. From tee box to green they do a great job maintaining a high standard - and there are many beautiful vistas to be enjoyed, including the old horse barns and training course markings which they integrated into the course. The staff is very helpful and accommodating, and they have not forgotten all the little niceties that make a country club a special place to which one can retreat and feel pampered after a rough day on the street.

Went to Olde York when I was babysitting, and my neighbor belongs to the pool, so I took the kids there. They have a very nice pool which is life-guarded. They serve snacks and other food, which you can order at the counter and they will bring it out to you after a short wait. They have a staff member who only deals with the kids, and she will play games and do crafts with them, so you can relax and not have to worry about them.

I had the chance to have a meal at a business meeting at this country club. The setting is lovely. The room where we met and ate was beautifully appointed and the food was delicious.
