I worked in Princeton for quite some time, and when I did, I would eat at Coxs occasionally. Cox's is predominantly a catering place, but they do have a lunch menu. The salads and sandwiches are top notch. There is nothing pre-made here. You choose the bread, and you watch as they slice your meat, toast the bread and put on the mayo by hand. The soups are hand made on a daily basis. They also have some exotic salads, and sides. The food is a bit pricey, however, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. I would recommend any of the club sandwiches and the soup.

Coxs Market has been around forever. They usually cater our lunch meetings because they have nice sandwhiches and the lowest prices. They have a small store right on Nassau Street near the CVS. It can be tough to find parking but if you stop in early in the am to get your coffee and bagel it's quiet and you can usually find a spot near by on the street.

Cox's Market has been a staple of the Princeton community for over 100 years, having opened its doors in 1901. We are owner operated and take great pride in our homemade products, prepared daily on-site.
