Princeton Airport is where I learned to fly. The pilot instructors are great. They also have free tours once a week that is open to the public, and in December they have Santa fly in to distribute toys to your child (drop off the toy in advance). They also offer a short 1 flight lesson as a "tryout" to flying thats relatively inexpensive. Give someone a 20-30 minute flight where they actually do the takeoff and flying.

Recently, I took my three year old son on a tour of the Princeton Airport. The facility is older but well-kept
At the end of the tour, we visited the well-stocked gift shop and purchased a helicopter like the ones he saw take-off. For a free tour, it was well-detailed and the families enjoyed learning the history of the airport and seeing several planes and helicopters (as well as sitting in a smaller plane).

The airport has a flight school, a pilot shoppe, flightseeing rides, and airplane rentals. It is a must visit for aviation enthusiasts.

PROS: nice airport, family-friendly, free tours during the summer
CONS: smaller airport, no chartered helicopters/planes
