We went here on a Thursday morning, July 26, 2012, after a quick check of area breakfast eateries on my phone. I must say the "Cookie Lady" title caught my eye, and I can't blame going on wanting to have a treat for our two girls! I wanted a local favorite type joint, and this was it! It's very small, so we were lucky to time it and get a four seater in the corner. There can't be seating for more than a about 15-20 people at tables, but there is also a row of stools at the counter if you can chew and balance yourself at the same time. The breakfast menu is substantial. I had a veggie egg white omelet dish in a wrap. The wife and kids enjoyed the usual eggs with sausage and pancakes, all done very deliciously. I was surprised though to see that their sausage was the flat burger shaped type like in fast food rather than the plump tubular stogie you usually find in diners. Of course, the kids ( an me!) couldn't wait to cap off the meal with Cookie Lady cookies! I can see why its a favorite with the locals. Most seemed to know each other.

It is well worth leaving the beach area to try these cookies. There is a wide variety and prcies are good for what you get. Fresh ingredients, many choices.
