We purchased all of our appliances at Stohrer's when we renovated our kitchen a number of years ago, along with a washer/dryer. Mr. Stohrer was extremely helpful and knowlegeable. He made the entire process effortless. We recently bought more appliances and again the experience was a pleasure. They even installed the appliances when we couldn't be there and we couldn't be more satisfied. We wholeheartedly recommend Stoerher's. In our busy lives, it's nice to have a local store that we can depend on to provide top notch service.

Small selection, average prices, and if you have an issue after delivery, they are very slow to respond to your needs. Wouldn't shop there again.

Bill at Stohrer's helped us with our entire kitchen remodel project using Wolf, Viking and Sub Zero appliances. The job came out great and they matched the lowest price I could find using the internet. We were not happy with the ice maker and they replaced it w a different model asap. I like dealing with local retailers and would recommend them to anyone.

George Stohrer has been very helpful with some problems with our new appliances. He did all he could when we had recurring problems with our Viking refrigerator and when not satisfied with the repairs he fought to get us a new refrigerator.
We also had a problem with our Thermador second oven and George Stohrer was the responsible party to make sure it was fixed immediately.
I like giving my business to an independent store like Stohrer's versus a large home center store. George knows us by name and goes to bat for us with the manufacturer. So there is something to be said for staying loyal to the smaller "Mom and Pop" type retailers that have been around a long time. I would recommend using them. They stand by their word.

To keep a long story short, the appliance was faulty and it was a nightmare to get it fixed/a new one. We finally got fed up, went down the street to the other appliance store and we couldnt be more pleased.

Our experience with Stohrers was and is an ongoing nightmare. We decided to shop locally figuring it would be an easier collaboration for our contractor and kitchen cabinet installer - all local guys. We purchased two Viking appliances from Stohrers. We were told "don't worry - we'll coordinate everything with your builder - we know him well", you don't have to worry about a thing - we'll take care of everything. The opposite happened. Stohrers completely dropped the ball. I had to call them numerous numerous times. It seems they were never "able to locate our file"!

Then, we needed to return an accessory piece to our stove that didn't fit - it took us 9 months, with repeated phone calls and store visits to get reimbursed - absolutely ridiculous.

We also purchased a service contract for our stove and microwave. Both appliances need to be re-calibrated. I am on my second month trying to get this done.

I love buying from Stohrers! Their staff is so friendly, they are very helpful and knowledgeable.

They can answer almost any question about any appliance. If by some chance they don't know they answer, they will find out and let you know!

They work directly with the kitchen designer to coordinate installation taking a lot of work off of my shoulders.
