Benanti's Italian Delicatessen

Benanti's is a taste of Italy in a little off-Broadway store! They are always very friendly and remember you, even if you don't shop there often. They have the best fresh mozzarella, which you can get salted or unsalted. The sandwiches are amazing! You pick out your bread, and the meat and cheese and toppings are stacked on. I don't usually like turkey, but the turkey and mozzarella sandwich is amazing. Great prices too! They have all kinds of Italian goodies like cakes, candies and chocolate as well as refrigerated or packaged food.

PROS: Friendly service, Excellent Food, Everything is fresh!
CONS: The store isn't very big, so it can get crowded
