The monmouth Meseum is one of the top meseum in New Jersey and it is for a reason. It's not only a great educational place for children, it's also a fun place for adults. We took the kids to Wonder Wing and they loved playing there while learning about the dinosaurs.

My children love the Wonder Wing, the train exhibit, and are looking forward to the human body exhibit opening soon. It is a great place to spend an afternoon. All is clean and the kids have a great time. All activities encourage imagination. Price is $5 for all visitors over 2 and therefore can get a bit pricy for a family outing, as you probably won't spend more than 90 minutes.

This museum is very cute. Everything for the kids is basically in one big room. They have a slide and a few pretend areas but not enough to make it worth going. The kids got bored in 20 minutes. The admission price was a little high for what they were offering. On the holidays they have a tree display and other big displays at various times during the year.

Monmouth Museum is a great place to take the kids. They have a toddler section, The Wonder Wing, which is just fantastic. Only $5 per child to get inside. Totally self contained, so no escaping children. They have different sections for the kids to play and learn at the same time. There is a dress up section, a treehouse, a coral reef plus a pirate ship with a kitchen inside! The big attraction is the whales mouth slide and the touching pond with lots of water for the kids to splash! Plus, there's an arts and craft section in the back, perfect to sit for a but and color, do puzzles or just relax.
