The Marriott Park Ridge is a very comfortable hotel located in somewhat out of the way Park Ridge near Montvale in northern New Jersey.
The rooms are standard Marriott fare, but very comfy and well air conditioned. A concierge lounge is available for their frequent traveler crowd, and it has a decent selection of snacks in the evening, and an expansive breakfast selection.
The rooms were pricey, over $200 per night, but there are not a whole lot of choices around there.

This hotel is a little far from my office but it is a nice hotel in a more quiet setting. They have lots of grounds with trees. What I recall most about the hotel is the mile you walk to your room. The halls go on forever. If you can't manage dragging your luggage ask for a room close to the elevator or stay elsewhere.

Nice getaway spot for locals

Have gone to this particular Marriott, on a monthly basis for about 7 years - always feel relaxed - use the pool, spa and workout room. Room service is timely and friendly, you can order from other eateries outside the hotel that will deliver as well. Sunday breakfast is great with everything from bagels and yogurt to made to order omelettes and french toast. Sometimes is can be loud if there are several events going on at the same time, but a quick call to the front desk is all that is necessary. Have taken my daughter and her friends for a sleep-over for her birthday - great fun! Always a nice, relaxing time away from home that is only 5 minutes away.
Pros: Great rooms for about $100 bucks-indoor pool, jacuzzi and workout room, room service
Cons: sometimes loud when multiple events are being held, but, not to an extreme
