I am a first time mom; I chose this practice, North Jersey Pediatrics, because it has an association with the hospital at which I delivered my baby. On the day I was supposed to be released, they found out my son was jaundiced; they still let me go with the baby anyway and that I had to go to their office the next day. When I went there, it was a different doctor, DR. GOLDENTHAL, who told me to go to the same hospital (again) and have my son's bilirubin level checked. Note that I just had delivered the baby and it was in winter. So I had to take my 3 day old baby out in the cold for a treatment that could've been easily done if they told me to keep the baby at the hospital. I voiced my concern and they ended up sending a home-care phototherapy and a nurse 2 days later.

My second visit, 2 month old appointment my son had immunizations. I specifically asked the doctor what to do if the reaction was going to be bad, Instead of answering my question, he said to call the office. My son ended up crying the whole day and when I called, they said to give him infant tylenol. He could've just answered my question and save myself and my baby few hours of crying!

And then I told him: I'm planning to take my son to Indonesia when he's 4 - 5 month. What should I do? He gave me a number to call (to the same hospital). I did call, and the first thing they asked is to double check with my doctor. What is it with referring me to go back and forth, i felt like a ping pong ball! And then finally, the lady said to go to a website and then set up an appointment before we go, and that will cost me annother 120 dollar and more for every shot.

THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY. THEY DONT CARE FOR YOUR CHILDREN. They will try to refer you here and there because they will get a commission for that.

I would have to agree with all the complaints on this site. Michelle, the manager, is extremely unprofessional and has insecurities that makes her feel that she needs to be aggressive to parents in order to feel important. No parent is interested in dealing with an uneducated tyrant; they just want a good doctor. She hung up the phone on me one too many times. Unfortunately, while I love the doctors, I don't have time to deal with someone who is grossly unprofessional, mean spirited and rude. North Jersey Pediatrics really needs to rethink if this manager, in fair lawn, is more of a financial burden.

my daugher is being going to this office since she was born, I only have complaints, NJP have the worst services, a few doctors are professional and really care for your kids, the staff is really nasty and don't have manners especially the old secretary in the fair lawn office I don't understand why she's still working if she's always in a bad mood. I requested a form to fill out for my daughter's day care and the made me pay $10 not only that I waited for more than a week for the form, my husband went twice to pick up the (one page paper) and it wasn't ready, they never apologyzed to us for the delay, and made us come back twice I don't know how hard and difficult is to complete a few lines ck and sign a form. I believe it will only take a couple of minutes not 8 days.

My 2 sons are patients of North Jersey Ped. I have nothing but fantasic experiences with Michele Keller. She is great with my children and so friendly with them! We are so thankful to have someone like Mrs. keller be part of our North Jersey pediatrics experience!

I have been going to this practice since I am a child myself, now bringing my own two girls (2 & 1) and I have had nothing but the most positive experiences with all doctors and staff. I feel the entire staff is very personalable, and they care about each child individually with only their best interest and best care at heart. Michele Keller is a friendly and warm office manager, who runs the office in my opinion efficiently and smoothly!!! She always bends over backwards to be accomodating to both parent and child, my girls absolutely adore Michele Keller and can't wait to see the fishies on her computer every time we visit Dr. Steinel(who we all adore as well)!!!! She always give them stickers and lollipops when we leave and I think she makes going to the Dr. a pleasant experience for both children and parents!!!

Michelle Keller should find another line of work. She is mean and nasty to the moms and I left the office crying last time I was there with my son. I see her yelling every time I have an appointment. I'm not going back.

I am a mother of 2 month old healthy baby .. because of the wrong diagnosis by North Jersey Pediatrics and threatning calls by office manager Michelle . our baby and we had to go through lot of physical, emotional and mental trauma.

Michelle, the office manager, threatened us that unless we take our baby to emergency center at Valley Hospital she will call the law enforcement agencies to take our baby away from us. When she called us, she refused to listen to us and started yelling at me and my husband.

Our normal healthy 2 month old baby had to go through all the painful tests because the doctor did not let us take a second opinion and this doctor did not even knew our baby's case history.

I would suggest if you really love your child .. PLS DO NOT TAKE your child to this place ... the doctors and staff members are really unprofessional with no work ethics at all.

I have been going to this office for 5+ years and got tired of dealing with someone who is not professional and quick to respond - Lisa the administrator. I called the office manager, her name is Michelle to actually not even so much as complain but to ask why is Lisa so quick with patients. Michelle (the office manager), asked me if I have a Guardian letter to bring my daughter in to get a Flue shot or an annual check up. I said I have never heard of the Guardian letter and I will call insurance company and try to find out more about it. I AM A SINGLE MOM. Michelle did not want to hear it!!
As soon as Michelle heard that I will call insurance to find out, she started to yell on top of her lungs and being so unprofessional she also told me that I have NOT yet heard her scream. "Are you threatening me? I don't like to be threaten, said Michelle to me."

Do yourself a favor find an office where you will be treated professional and doctor's don't leave as quick. Everytime you get used to one doctor, they leave. I did love Dr Paige. This must have been the reason she left.
