It's not my favorite Irish Pub but it's a lot of fun. They usually get a pretty good crown on the weekends. They have some good appetizers and the bartenders are cool.

From the outside, the Pub looks very old school but it is completely different inside. When you go in, you are greeted by nice servers. The food there is awesome for a great price. You can't find a lot of cheap and good food places near Atlantic City anymore so I was amazed to find this one. It is a convenient location and worth every penny

It does not get any better. Professional old school bartenders, great late night bar food. You remember what AC is all about when you're in this place. Cannot go wrong.

I'm sorry if the reviewer below me expected a gourmet meal for $1.90...but don't let it scare you. I've eaten there plenty of times...and the food is good. The sandwiches are better than you deserve for the price. My favorite is the corned beef on rye sandwich. My only knock is the fish & chips...which should be better considering it's an Irish pub. I have a sneaking feeling that "Mrs. Pauls" may be the source of the fish. I'd gladly pay a little more for a better quality fish.

The beer is cheap, for AC. The bartenders are top quality...and the pour a proper pint of Guinness.

In all...it's a great pub for a few beers & a bite to eat. It's a "MUST" if you're visiting Atlantic City.

Pros: cheap

Cons: the "fish" in the fish & chips are frozen fish sticks

We tried the Poor Richard's luncheon special which is billed as a bowl of the day's soup (onion) and sandwich (roast beef). The soup was on the watery side, but the sandwich was circa 1959 high school cafeteria quality. It was exactly what one would expect for $1.90.

Good local bar for the after party chill place... its off the boardwalk between resorts and clariage.

the Irish Pub is the best bar/pub in Atlantic City and anyone who disagrees doesn't really know what they are talking about, or they are probably a tourist from out of state. the Pub is open 24/7 so you can always stumble in @ 3am after a night a gambling in the casinos. they also have pretty good/cheap bar food. and they even have rooms available if you get too drunk to drive home.

The longevity of Irish Pub is testimony to the durability of warm, homey restaurants and bars. People come for the shepherd's pie and tall drinks of Guinness, but there's pasta next to potatoes, and chicken wings next to spring rolls. All…
