Hamilton Farmers Market

This farm market was formerly a supermarket so you can imagine how big it is! There is a good variety of fresh fruits and vegetables available at the market, so it is also a local meeting place. In addition to produce, this market also has a fresh fish counter, cheese and dairy products, fresh cut flowers, and fresh baked goods. This is the place I go before I go to a supermarket so I can get the freshest produce and fill in the gaps in my grocery needs at the supermarket.

The best deals are their fresh herbs and the bulk dried fruits and nuts, but also impressive is the countless variety of different ethnic foods. Fair warning - you have to be discerning when it comes to some fruits and vegetables- the quality can vary from day to day (and season to season)- so buyer beware. Also a great spot to buy flowers.

This huge farmers' market has a great selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. There is also a good variety of ethic food, cheeses, and fresh fish. The prices are extremely reasonable, especially for fresh herbs, which are much more expensive in grocery stores. There is also a florist near the entrance with particularly lovely roses in lots of colors.
