Lighthouse Tavern

My fiance and I and our friends frequent the Lighthouse. Great food, great service, good music, reasonably priced, not usually overly crowded. We enjoy playing shuffleboard too!

The lighthouse tavern is a warm and inviting pub-like atmosphere with good service and excellent food. Casual attire is acceptable. The menu ranges from snacks, seafood, burgers and full course meals as well as great black board specials which are beautifully decorated by the chef. My personal favorite is the Alpine Tavern Burger which has Swiss cheese, mushrooms and onions. The prices are reasonable. In addition, there is fast service. It is a great place to go to during football season because of their delicious complimentary half-time buffets on Mondays.

The lighthouse tavern is a bar on route 9 in Waretown. They don't just serve bar food, they serve good food. Linguini and clams are a great idea. They do great, great sandwiches. They have cheap beer and do a wing night on tuesdays. There's also karaoke on Thursdays and usually bands on the weekends. Ussually a middle-aged crowd.
