Entering through the doors of Sabor latino is like taking a trip to another country. Its platters are colorful, filled with food but most importantly delicious. What is interesting about their menu is that it has platters from other latin countries making their menu very interesting.

So far Ive tried their (Bandeja Paisa) Colombian platter, (Ceviches) Peruvian platter, and their (Hornado) Ecuadorian platter.

Their seasonings are close to perfect which is why just as many of their customers I will be returning for another great experience.

Pros: great food, good price

I would say any trip to the Ironbound district of Newark is probably best to include one of the many Brazilian or Portuguese restaurants that all boast moderate to high quality. There is one Ecuadorian place on the strip of Wilson Avenue that can satisfy certain needs though. Sabor Latino is a lot like many indistinguishable Latin places througout the New York City area, you can accertain its country connection through which flags are displayed. The interior is full of colorful football posters, neon lighting, and every surface that can be mirrored will be mirrored.

As with many places, ask what is good and fresh today, if your Spanish allows... This one is not as good as the hornado restaurants in Jackson Heights, so not worth a long trip if coming from afar.
