I shop in the West Deptford ShopRite on a weekly basis and have only had positive experiences. I question the previous post regarding the Manager. I have found him to be most helpful, as are the Assistant Managers. I think this person is not telling the whole story, especially if she was charged. Sounds like sour grapes to me.

Horrible to aged and handicap. I stop in to purchase a fruit tray. Asked the Manager a question. He screamed at me and poked his finger on my shoulder. I finished shopping and checked out using my VISA cash card. At the door, I was detained by two policeman who the Manager called. I was charged with three things. After spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars on an Attorney, I was forced to plead guilty to Loitering in Court. I was told that if I did not, I would be taken directly to jail under amended charges including Criminal Trespass. based on the written statements from Shoprites Manager and his Assistant. My Attorney confirmed that this could happen in spite of the close to $50, I spent that day. I am a 66 year old High School Teacher who walks with a cane and portable oxygen.

Zallies needs to provide a place for the employees to sit and eat lunch. It seems that the "full price,eat in" paying customers have no place to sit during their lunch hour. After going to Shoprite WD everyday for lunch, (no exaggeration) for the last 3-1/2 years, I have finally decided it's not worth the fight for a seat. This is unfortunate for both SR and myself since I usually buy dinner items on the way out as I head back to work! I'll have to find another lunch spot.No-- I am not an employee !!I still shop at Shoprite- Berlin, my home town. NO hard feelings WD.Thanks.

Out of all the Shoprite supermarkets this is my favorite. Open 24/7 with large isles, fresh bread depeartment, bakery , child care and beautiful fresh produce I travel 20 minutes to shop here. Shoprite has great weekly specials and an excellent bakery that compares equally with the finest local bakeries in the area.
