I've been going to Clementon Park for years and I've always liked it, but it's even better now. I think new owners took over a while ago. If you have not visited lately you should really give it a go. It's cleaner than it has ever been and it seems like when I visit all of the rides and slides are open....previously there would be a number of things closed (not sure why). It's truly a great little park and the price to get in is prety good. Great for young families so don't expect a lot of big rides.

After reading many negative or near negative reviews of Clementon Park/Splash World, I went with trepidation on a pre-arranged trip. I was pleasantly surprised. It was "customer appreciation day, and admission was only 9.99. That certainly helped. The amusement side of the park is rather limited, but must be taken for what it is - a small, local park with a long history since the early 1900's. The Hell Cat roller coaster was great, and we enjoyed many of the rides. Someone had previously written that the log flume water was "brown" and dirty... this is absolutely not true. The water was clear, and looks brown only because the flume is painted that color!!The water park is really very nice. I've been to both Sahara Sam's and Coco Key water parks, between $29-$35 for a day, & Splash World had everything for a more reasonable price.

The lines would be longer at the height of the summer. There were attendants walking around at all times, sweeping and emptying trash. It was very clean. Don't expect Cedar Point, but if you get a good deal on a ticket, you'll have a lot of fun.

i have a season pass to go to clementon park but this year i have only gone twice. my brother works there and every time we drop him off it is very crowded. the water park is fun. but it is not always the cleanest. the rides are fun, the lines aren't very long at all. i go with my friends and it is fun. i am not going to lie there is always a group of ignorant kids there,do not be surprised to hear some people cursing. parking is a little on the expensive side. food can be expensive also, but what people do not realize is that they are not making a lot of money this year, i know because of my brother working there, just because there is a lot of people there doesn't mean that they make a lot of money. and i am not trying to be raciest but i have reliezed that over the years it seems like there it only black people there now. but yet again it is around some towns, now in 2009 it is mostly teens there, and parents with there kids. but unlike some of these other people saying it is a dump, they are very wrong

My kids love to go here - we love it because its nearby- not too pricey and just enough .

By just enough i mean its big enough to keep them busy and happy for a day between water rides / games at the waterpark and the regular amusement rides right next door, without the children getting overwehlmed or overly tired and wanting to go on every ride knowing they never will in one day which can sometimes lead to crankly kids !!

The price you pay is great for what you get and there are often coupons out to help you save a few $$ .

You can buy food or bring in your own -
There are even some games of chance to try to win some prizes such as you see at boardwalks down the shore !!

all in all its a great and frugal way to spend a day as a family !!

Clementon Amusement Park and Splash World is crowded, dirty and expensive. There are not nealry as many rides as those found at other local amusement parks. The park is not nearly as clean as one would expect, especially considering the price of admission is not discount. There are other parks offering more that are definatley more fun.

It's not Six Flags by a long shot. Clementon is Clementon... always was and always will be. I have some of the most wonderful memories of being a child and visiting Clementon Lake Park with my family. It seemed we rode endlessly on every ride they offered. I think we'd usually go on what was fondly called...'Nickel Day'... all of the rides cost a nickel. I took my own children there countless times. Although the 'Magic Carpet Ride' no longer existed, and the roller coaster scared me more because it was now so very old, Splash World offered a whole new delight. We've also attended a company picnic or two at Clementon. You simply can't go wrong for the admission cost!

Our family visited Clementon Park this past week. Clementon is a family park that strives to remain affordable. Monday was mother's day. Mother's received free admission when accompanied by a full-paid child admission-this saved $$. The park has a small assortment of amusement rides along with a small water park. On our visit, the park was not crowded which made our visit with 2 small children enjoyable.

The waterpark aspect of this park is great, lots of rides and opportunities to get wet on a hot day. However, the theme park side is run down, filthy and looks like a carnival joint. Parking is plenty and the food...BRING YOUR OWN, trust me this place needs someone to invest in it and refurbish it completely!

PROS: Lots of fun water rides, cheap entry fees
CONS: run down, delapidated amusement park rides

Located inside Clementon Amusement Park this is a wonderful place to go to cool off on a hot summer day. Since there is no seperate admission for the two parks, you can take the family and make a day of it. Later in the day when it starts to cool off you can enjoy the other rides that the park offers.
