If you want true results, you come here.
by A B.
Diamond Gym - owned by Mr. Dwayne McDaniel - is a true gym that really cares about your fitness goals. You have a whole bunch odf people aiming for something different. From Figure & Fitness competitors to Male & Female Bodybuildng.
This is the first gym i've been to where everyone who works there is knoweldgeable about fitness.
When you first walk in, you are greeted by a great front desk staff. They are always smiling and making you feel very comfortable and 'in-place'. You can go ask any type of question to the front desk staff and they always have an answer for you. You also have bodybuilding videos playing to get you motivated.
The prices are the cheapest i've ever seen for a gym. They are very reasonable.
The music is loud and very motivating. Consisting of rap, hip hop, dance, and some rock.
The gym is hardcore and you come here to train; train hard. Diamond Gym has taught me that hardcore is for everyone. Diamond Gym also has taught me that working out is not beautiful, the results are!
Ive only been a member for a year but the information given is truely valuable.
Go there and check it out. I promise u'll be hooked!!

Diamon Gym
by Vic S.
I grew up at this gym, started when I was thirteen. I've seen them come, and seen them go. Ive, seen great people walk through these doors with the likes of Serge Nubret, Platz, Samir, Yates, Strydom, Dickerson, Pearson, Boris the famous artist and so many more.
Promoting the fantastic sport of Bodybuilding and encouraging all to strive to be their best!
One thing is for certain, anyone who trains here, over time, becomes a better person physically. I've seen people transform themselves to healthier beings, one for the wiser and definitely; if the person pushes beyond ones limits of endurance, and mind set, they come out Diamond Gym as a champion in their own right!
Great place to workout, educate oneself in terms of a health and training, and having fun expressing what one loves to do the most.

Think About It

I have been a member at diamond for 4 years and am changing gyms this September. Diamond is great for hardcore lifters; however, it is definitely not a family gym. The music is extremely loud and primarily consists of rap, hip hop and R&B. Also, locker space is limited, therefore, get dressed before you go to the gym.

You can get what you need there

Diamond Gym--owned by Dwayne McDaniel is a treasure as Anon described it. The people there are a bit hardcore, but even if you're not you will feel comfortable there. I am a budding hardcore person--much weight to lose, out of shape, busy...all the excuses one could make, but I have found a new religion there. Fancy is not likely to get you to your goals, but support, encouragement, good role models will and you can get all that at Diamond. Stumbling in there is one of the best things that has happened to me.

Hardcore gym
by Anonymous
Diamond gym is one of the few gyms left that cater to the true bodybuilding subculture. Many great champions have trained there at one point or another. The owner, John Kemper, is himself a former professional bodybuilder and has a wealth of knowledge about bodybuilding, supplements, or anything else related to bodybuilding. Though it is a hardcore gym I've seen regular people work out there and the smart ones seem to pick up the good habits and the ambition of the bodybuilders and go on to get in great shape themselves.
If you truly love bodybuilding then you have to visit this treasure. Then when you're finished with your workout go talk to John about bodybuilding when it was in its infancy. You wouldn't believe all that he has done and who he has met throughout his life.

I have patronized this gym on several occassions. It has all the basic equipment, but some of the equipment is quite old. This gym is frequented by local boxers and hard-core weight lifters and isn't really targeted towards those who want to workout to lose weight. They have mostly weight-lifting machines, but not many elliptical machines or any of the newer cardio machines. Their membership rates are reasonable...$7 for a daily pass, and I believe its $40 for one month, or $90 for three months
PROS: reasonable prices
CONS: not much cardio equipment
