This is my favorite place to play. The conditions are always nice and we can play in four hours or less. I can get there from my office in the city in about 15 minutes in the middle of the day.

The staff was rude from the time we walked into the pro shop. They weren't helpful in finding our scheduled tee time even though we called 3 days in advance. The course is in decent shape but very tight and found ourselves ducking to avoid other golfers shots. It would have been an ok day until we were approached by a very rude staff member a little over 3 hours into our game with a foursome and 3 holes to play who preceded to tell us that our game should have been completed. I wouldn't recommend this course to anyone mainly due to the rude staff. There is plenty of other courses out there in better shape with better staff for the same if not a better price

I play 9 holes 5 or 6 times a summer. We usually go after work and the last time we went they put us behind a league. We were out for over almost an hour and hadn't finished 3 holes. We waited on the second and third tees. There was no one on the course to move people along.

What a great find. I live in Cherry Hill and I just discovered Westwood Golf Course right off of Exit 21 of 295. Played a 4 hour round on a Saturday morning! Course was very well maintained and lush.

Played this course on 4/20/07 -- this course is in better shape than any of the more expensive courses I have played in the area. I met my friend from the shore there and it only took me 15 minutes from center city. Right off Exit 21 of 295 South.

Paid $40 to cart during the week, and overall it's not too shabby. The rumours you'll hear about the greens are true - challenging, very few offer any straight puts over 7ft and the surface of most have a colony of ball marks. This course has lots of rough, which you may find yourself in after a decent tee shot since the ball seems to roll and take some severe random bounces. Course would be much more enjoyable w/ an added 20-30 yds of fairway on some of the longer holes. I thought the length was acceptable (I drive in the 260+/- range). All in all a decent value, although I'd be hard pressed to chose it again over other local courses.

Pros: Prox. to Center City, Cheap

Cons: Greens

...if you think this is one of the 10 best courses in the Philly area. It's very short and there is only one set of tees for men. This course isn't terrible, it just has no place on a list like this. The greens are tricky, but the hacks who play drag their feet and leave spike marks all around the pins. It's a fun layout, with some interesting shots, but nothing special. I wouldn't go out of my way to play here, but you'll have a decent time if you do. Just don't expect a challenge and you'll be alright.

Pros: Fast play., Fun greens., Interesting holes.

Cons: Short., Easy., Front 9 is weak.
