As far as I know, this location is in Bergenfield, NJ, not Dumont. In fact it is right on the Northeast corner of an intersection where Teaneck Rd, coming north from the township of Teaneck, turns into S. Washington. The Teaneck Armory is right on the other side of intersecting Liberty Rd. This Sleepys is the first business to the right, in an otherwise rather bland shopping plaza.

We bought our beds from this location, and were very pleased with the service we received from the salesman there. I don't see how they do it, sitting in those showrooms about 10-12 hours a day. One thing is for sure, they don't have to worry about shoplifters or robberies. Anybody cross that threshold is probably more than 50% likely to buy. They carry most of the major brands and levels of bed styles. There is no real reason not to buy from Sleepys because they have that price guarantee. It's rough that quality bedding is so expensive - our King size was about a grand, but it was the first replacement bed in a good 20 years, and this puppy has at least that long to go.

The same man is probably there. It definitely helped that he was a attentive but also low pressure. The salesperson makes or breaks the sale for me. As soon as any ying yang is detected, I'm usually out the door so fast he'll still be talking as he watches my car drive off. This man, surprisingly, seemed genuinely interested in what our needs were in quality - it does make a difference, and it usually follows the price ranges. The "pillowtop" is a seductive mistress, but it's not worth the price. Once you fall asleep, its the support that matters and he was gladly willing to discuss the details of coils and suspension. I still think the box spring thing is a hustle to fortify the price for the "set". To me, a box spring can last forever - there is so little give to it - it's the mattress that is everything.

If you are in Bergen County and can pick any number of mattress places - even any number of Sleepys, I recommend you take time to see this particular man here. If he's the same guy we saw about 5 years ago, you'll enjoy the mattress buying experience.
