I have been to Salon Escada twice, and I will not return. Each time I went with a groupon type discount so at least I didn't get raped by their pricing. The first time was over a year ago and I recall it was not a relaxing experience. My manicurist (who was about 60) did a horrible job on my nails and toes and was rude to boot! I had vowed not to return but then decided to give it another shot because it is right near my house and another deal came up. \r\n\r\nI didn't have to wait for my appointment (I don't think I did the last time either) and this manicurist , a different one also about 60 had the nastiest nails I had ever seen. I actually gagged when I looked at them. Her nails had grown away from the skin and there looked like there was a black abyss down in there. I think it must have been a fungus or something because she had it on a few other nails. I am thinking now that I should have asked her to put on gloves or something . \r\n\r\nShe was somewhat nice, not really friendly and pretty awkward. Not that I want to talk the whole time but she was just so blah. I mentioned that I have gotten mani/pedis in NYC for 10-20 dollars and she went on to say that those places aren't licenced and would I go to a doctor that does not have a licence. Seriously? Does she compare herself to a doctor? \r\n\r\nAnyway, more importantly, she did a very uneven job on my nails, which 48 hours later are chipping badly, and when I got home I saw that my toes were smudgy and one of them was not shiny! She forgot to top coat it and I had to do it when I went home. I also noticed when I got home that my two pinky toes had been shaped oddly and the nail was not painted and hanging off to the side. I had to cut both of them again. Just yesterday the big toe chipped - 72 hours later. \r\n\r\nStay away - even if its a good deal because you will end up having to do it again elsewhere...

Collette at Salon Escada is the best nail technician there is. She uses acrylic to sculpt and refill nails that look as good as your own. Their prices are reasonable and I would highly recommend them.

Very nice staff. Decent prices. Excellent service, rarely have a long wait but I do miss Maryellen. Nice place without being snooty. I would definitely recommend it.

I've been going to Escada for years and since I've been going there Beth Cooper does my hair and my color. I cannot not say enough about how wonderful she has been. My color always looks fantastic whether I'm blonde or brunette, and as a stylist I always get compliments from family and friends about how my hair and my cut no matter what style, length or color always compliments me. There have been times where I have gone in to see Beth and said "what should I do with my hair" and she always makes me look good, when you have that kind of trust in a stylist/colorist you know you have it good. :)

I have been going to Escada for many years and me and my daughters love the place. Denise is a great stylist and Kristy does a terrific job highlighting my daughter hair. Very comfortable atmosphere with a friendly and attentive staff.

I have been going to Salon Escada since it opened. Beth is a great colorist and I would not let anyone else touch my hair. Whether light or dark, she always has your hair looking natual, none of that washed out blond stuff!
