My wife & I been loyal customers of Freehold Jeep since 1995. After 5 hours with the salesman & 2 other mangers, they finally gave us their bottom price, which was $30.00 more per month than we originally told them we could afford to pay. So we left feeling that they wasted our time. Two days later the salesman phoned us to come in because they could lease us the car at the price that we originally stated. We asked the salesman if the price included all fees & taxes, he said," Yes everything" . After 2 additional hours at the final closing the price they quoted did NOT include taxes & destination fees, which brought the price up to $65.00 more per month than we afford to pay.
We will never step foot in Freehold Jeep again, I would advise others not to bother wasting they time as well.

My 17 year old son brought his car in to Freehold Chrysler Jeep because it was making an unusual noise. He was told there was a $109.00 charge for diagnostics if the car was not under warranty. He answered "it is under warranty" and signed it because he was made to believe by the manager that it was a formality since the car was under warranty. We received a call that the car needed brakes and were told it would be $365. I told them not to do it because it was too much money. I was then called and told it would be $260...I again refused because since the Jeep only has 30,000 miles I wanted to be sure it really needed brakes. When we went to pick it up he was charged $109.00 even though I was told by the mechanic, "after your son told us about the noise we took it for a test drive. We could tell by the sound that it was the brakes so when we got back to the shop we looked at them and confirmed it. The $109 diagnostic could not and did not tell them the brakes were bad...only looking at them can tell you that. It was just a way to rip a kid off of $109. To add insult to injury, I was on the phone with the service manager (and admittedly a little loud) while my son was standing outside his office. The 'gentleman' put me on speaker phone for the whole shop to hear. The unprofessionalism is appalling. We were quoted a price of $69 for a wheel alignment and when we picked it up were presented with a bill for $89...and was told that I misunderstood the price, which I did not. Apparently misrepresentation is business as usual.

We went to Freehold Toyota after seeing the car we were interested in sitting in their lot. We made an appointment and were met by the salesperson when we got there. He worked hard to make us a deal but couldn't get the numbers to work for us. We were on our way out and the sales manager called us back and worked on our deal until they could get to a number that worked for us. There were some problems and they made good on their IOU and had them fixed the following week since we took the van off the lot that same night. It did take up almost an entire day trying to finalize this deal since once we agreed they went on to work with other customers and we ended up waiting longer than I would have liked.
