My fiance and I went for dinner on a Saturday night, to discuss our upcoming wedding menu with the banquet manager, Kathy. She serves above and beyond with her thoughtful approach and creativity; to say the least, I am very excited to

This is not like Italy - it is like Provence. Abutting the Mediterranean Sea, Provence borrows from Italy, Greece, and Morocco, while preparing French delicacies from an abundance of the sea and the fields -- all to create the uniqure provencal cooking style. (BTW- Nonna's has dropped "Tuscan" from its name.)

The chef was borne in Cannes and his cooking takes you there on the flavors and scents of the finest food in this region. He often prepares chicken en croute with wild mushrooms just because someone who fondly remembers it asks again.

The first time we visited we had to stop ourselves from licking the soup bowl of its pumpkin soup while the gentleman behind us asked for special order calimari.

At Christmas we planned a family brunch, but the chef had not planned to serve brunch that week. Later, his maitresse d' called back when a 2nd party also wished to book that Sunday -- and the chef gave both parties (30 people) run of the place for Christmas brunch. My eyes are watering with joy as I savor the memory of that grand buffet meal.

The cozy dining room entrance sports santons (hand-carved saints from the Christmas nativity that are traditional in Provence). Through the French doors there are 2 private rooms for larger affairs. We hosted 80 plus a dance floor in the larger room to give you an idea of the size.

No one has ever turned us down for an invitation to Nonna's. The boss's wife came to our wedding reception and then started scheduling her annual Christmas party there!

I need more stars - 5 is just not enough!

P.S. French doors also open onto a back patio shaded by a grape arbor. We found it a wonderful extension for after-dinner cigar smokers at our party.
