Here is a message I finally emailed to this company. I never received an answer. I would never recommend this company!

Hello,
My name is Alexis. I have talked to you guys more than a dozen times this week. I am still wating for someone to get here since Tuesday. First, someone would be here Tuesday morning to service the washer and drop off a fridge we are purchasing. We waited all day. I made several phone calls. When I finally got an answer I was told the guy was on his way. The owner here waited around after hours and provided his cell phone number so there was no confusion. Nobody showed up. Then, you guys were supposed to come yesterday. I must have called more than 20 times and did not get an answer or a call back. Today, I was told the guy would be here in a half hour which would have been 11:30 a.m. It is now 2:47 p.m. I keep getting the run a round and am very aggravated at this point. We are running a business here as well. There are two tenants that have not been able to do their laundry for 2 weeks now. I am really sick of calling because when I do you give me the same answer "that he is on his way" We will be closing at 4 p.m. and I do not have anyone available to sit and wait once again after hours. I would really appreciate an honest answer since a technician has been "on his way" since Tuesday.

I called to get service on a warranted fridge and what I got was a complete ass on the phone. After he mumbled some things, he sounded drunk or something, I remarked I have food in the fridge and that set him off. He said something about me criticizing him and me not being able to take it back? I had to ask him to repeat himself 2 or 3 times because of slurring. End result...he said he was going to call my landlord and refuse to service the fridge...I hung up. This person has no business running a business!

My landlord got me a new fridge after the lies and failure to show up. Then the problem was getting him to pick up his trash before he would refund my landlord! He actually told me on the phone that he couldn't find the place and he already left the area! He then muttered (again) that he didn't care about this! He did come the next day and proceeded to say my landlord sent him to the wrong place and told me I don't live where my mail is sent but I live in another town, his reasoning for this was "I grew up around here and you don't live in Mt. Ephraim"! AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID

I didn't realize there were so many bad reviews for this place, otherwise I would've never went w/ them in the first place.

My sister had called around to price out for a used washer, found Audubon Used Appliance seemed pretty reasonable. I had gone into the store to check it out. They had one left. Perfect, just what we needed. The lady in the store was real nice & friendly. Than came the experience of the delivery. They had given me a delivery time of around 4:30. I called the store. VM says to text this number (which happened to be the owner, Steve). I did so, got a call saying they should've never given me a time frame b/c its hard to tell when they can get there due to prior jobs running long, which is sort of understandable. At the same time, I can't wait around all day as I went for the install and was going to go home after that. Steve told me he could get there by 6:15-6:30, stuck in traffic. OK, I''ll come back than. 6:30 come and goes, He said something about having to drop off his daughter which is fine.I call him back at 8 to find out where he is, he says he just sat down to eat dinner with the family. Ok, so when can you be here? 8:30, again no show, Than he says he'll be there by 9. I call him at 9:10 to tell him forget about the delivery. I want to get a refund. You've been giving me the run around. You got to eat w/ your family while Im here waiting for you. I still haven't eaten yet. He gets all pissed off and says you're not my boss, you can't tell me what to do. I said i'll be there. I have other stops out there. I'm on my way. It's 9:30pm, you're not coming out here. Don't come. I will call the store in the morning to get my refund & will go over your head if i have to. He started mocking me.
What kind of way is that to run a business? The guy that answered the phone the next morning said it's nothing new, the way I was treated. He would see what he could do to get my refund. I had to call again & a different girl had answered, had the same response. How are they still open???
Needless to say, I'm glad I paid w/ a credit card. That's how I was able to get my refund. I never saw anything from the store. They did not refund me when they said they would.
BEST ADVICE, STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS STORE!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GUY!!!!! Paid $500 for refrigerator and it went down a week later! After about a 100 calls and a month later, STEVE came at 10pm to replace the part. Also paid $100 for the ice bucket for the freezer, which should have been in the refrigerator!!! Then the bottom hinge came off the refrigerator side, another 100 calls to STEVE, he rudely insulted me telling me it wasn t his problem! I had even bought the part that goes on the door, just need them to put in on for me. This place is a total RIPOFF!!! Wish I could give it no stars!!!

The good thing about audobon- they deliver quickly. The bad thing.. everything else! God forbid there's a problem with your purchase! We made a purchase of a dryer- and the first dryer they delivered did not work. They had to replace it.. it took weeks, but we were patient and nice- despite Steve's attitude (the owner). The second dryer was okay for a while, but a gasket went and it began ripping our clothes and getting oil on them. We reported the problem (still within warranty) and he has blown us off for 5 months!!!! He kept telling us he would send the part (we were willing to do the repair ourself if he'd just send the part). Well, after trying to chase him down, for the LAST TIME in the last few months- I got him on the phone to ask when the part would be delivered (hey.. i've been patient.. it's been over 5 months.. first call was 12-10-10 about this.. last call was 5-26-11) HE HUNG UP ON ME!!! They are not very happy about doing repairs at all!!! Better choice- the washer doctor in pleasantville!

Going into the store was a pleasant experience, picked out what I wanted Paid made a plan to deliver the next day. We were told to call around 930 to check on the time of deliver We were told between 1-400pm. GREAT. 430 came no washer, was told will be there soon 515 was told that they were stuck in traffic, 600 was told by the owner that it was none of our business were he was when he had our washer
and our money-said he would the there 1/2 hour-710
called again said that he was going to leave the washer in my driveway very nasty-he did get there 730-this is no way to treat a customer this could have all been avoided if the would have made the first call saying there was a problem instead they got annoyed with us because we wanted our washer. what is wrong with this?

My old dryer died and I was looking for a 2nd hand replacement as I am not ready to upgrade to "new" since they are soo expensive. I called Audubon Used Appliances and was greeted by a friendly, and knowledgeable representative, Sharon. She was very helpful and open and explained the prices and the terms. The price for a 2nd hand, $200 is very reasonable. They charge for delivery, but they hook every thing up and take out the old dryer. That works for me!
