Closed - out of business - gone - caput- They may still have stores in Metuchen or Red Bank. Their web site seems also to be gone. Time to find some where new.

Sometimes, you just want to wander an old fashioned bookstore, and not a big box store like Barnes and Noble. Pyramid Books is great! The store is cozy and lends itself well to browsing. You can always find an interesting book, and sometimes a real gem will pop up! Saving money on books is great and the prices here are cheap. Plus, you can "trade in" some of you old books for store credit. A great way to own your books but still be able to own new books.

Pyramid Books had a nice choice of used books and fair prices. It is a great place to go if you do not want to pay full price for books, and you are able to sell books to them. You are able to get cash or store credit for your books. I have sold books to them before and it is a very easy process. You don't get much money for them, but it helps reduce the clutter in your house!

Used books

Pyramid Books has a rather large selection of used books mostly organized by author. The pricing is easy to understand (50% off, 20% for new titles) and the store cat is friendly; however, the atmosphere is cold and doesn't encourage lingering.
