I am partially disabled so I came to FF because I got an email that assured me that I had two free weeks to check it out. I knew I couldn't use treadmills or most of the equipment, but also knew that had some pilates which attracted me along with the salt water pool. There never was an offer of two free weeks. The song and dance included a huge initiation fee(there was even a bogus $300 discount check). Charges escalated to $360 from the $315 I was told about(tax and handling fee). I was asked if I could afford $27 a month in addition. No contract and 30 day cancellation notice. At the end of the gambit, the $27 suddenly changed to $37 (the extra $10 was for equipment upgrades).I did not sign the original bill so it was never presented as a whole including tax which is why the surprise $45 meant there was no gas in my car for a week.
I intend to check with the NJ Consumer Protection Agency after finding this page a little late. Their limited membership is not. It is always crowded because they have 5000 people that they charge every month and fervently hope that most of them never show up.
I did the nurses exam and came out with a "real age" of 78 which sort of makes you want to give up before you start. Of course, the trainer was awful. You are supposed to have access to a consult from a dietician and physical therapist (perhaps in the new millennium).

Salesman, "sit down pal let me explain...blah blah..." Im not your pal, here is my credit card, just sign me the f... up. Salesman, "that's it! You're out of here!" Me, "really?" what is this a nightclub?" I think the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs should look into this behavior.

Patty P. teaches aerobics at the Cherry Hill location of Future Fitness, N.J. She's also teaches dance. She's also a pet-sitter! She works 3 jobs with a 10 yr. old girl. Single mom at 50 yrs old. She and her husband were rear-ended in 2001 in an accident in CA. He suffered brain damage for a decade... died in mid-June 2012! He was attacked by the nurse that was taking care of him while in the healthcare facility!! Unbelievable story for this woman. She's an average aerobics teacher at best and not as good as the rest of them but a very brave woman....

Advertise trial period at $10 per month!! Go to get out after you end up having to pay over $224+ to get out. I was told a trial membership which is why I had joined, and could end it after 11/15/11 as I am in college(live there) and could not go till yesterday they said ok back in sept. It is not a trial as advertised but a 3 year contract. Which I was not told, only joined for the 3 months. It advertises $10 per month still trial!!!!! My Mom paid to get me out her name is Josepine Hartline. She paid just to get me out as I have to leave soon to go back to college again, this businessknew all this when I signed for what they told me was a trial emembership!!

For six months I was a model member at the F.F. Esterbook Aqua Facility in Cherry Hill. I attended water aerobics classes on a regular basis and was well liked by my class mates as well as the pool staff. However, I observed a number of questionable business practices ( some actually bordering on illegal and immoral activities}I contacted the owner and his two general managers on a number of occasions {phone, snail mail ,lettes in suggestion box and even a posting on Insider Pages} I received only rude and disinterseted responses.Last week I was shocked when a Cherry Hill Police Detective called to warn me of Fut. Fit. intention of filing harrassment charges against me. I have told the truth and certainly made no threats I am a disgruntled customer and feel it is my duty as a good American to pressure Corporations to comply with legal business procedures. I have so much to say it will not fit in this letter today. So, I wiil submit a new chapter in the beginning of each upcoming month until I have cleard my mind of this issue. CHAPTER 1 (8/2/11} WORLDS WORST SALESMAN { how many dozens of comlaints do you have to receive about ERIC before you Do The Right Thing?} CHAPTER 2 (9/2/11} PIT BULL PATTY {5 stories that explain how Patty got her nickname} CHAPTER 3 (10/2/11} FEDERAL DISCRIMINATION PRACTICES IN SALES PITCH ( IS this a private club that black balls potential members,or is it a business OPEN TO THE PUBLIC?} CHAPTER 4 {11/2/11} DANGER OF TEXTING LIFEGUARDS { life guards work unsupervise and regularly text talk on cell phones, write letters, read newspapers etc. while on their shifts} CHAPTER 5 {12/2/11}ACCIDENT VICTIM RECEIVES NO TREATMENT OR ATTENTION FROM LIFE GUARD ON DUTY CHAPTER 6 {1/2/12/ WATER AEROBICS INSTRUCTOR FIRED ON FALSE AND LUDICRUS ACCUSATIONS {this one's a real shocker} CHAPTER 7 {{2/2/12} BROKEN EQUIPTMENT 1

I joined future fitness in September and o completely regret it. I was ripped off from the start, paying an absurd amount of money just to join compared to a friend who joined for 1/4 of what I paid. Then I had gotten my debit card changed and called to make a payment over the phone. I made a payment on the day it was due and the women on the phone told me everything was taken care of, then the next time I went into the gym, they told me I had another declined fee even though they had charged my account the day it was due. This place is a ripoff, can't wait to cancel my membership.

I joined Future Fitness in 2009, in June of 2010 I sent a letter via certified mail providing the required three months notice to cancel my membership, payments for the last three months of July, August and September were made. Suddenly in December I am contacted by AFC stating my account is overdue and payments weren't made for October, November and December. No matter how many times I explained that I had cancelled my membership I continued to receive the same phone calls and emails. Finally in February the calls and emails stopped so I assumed they had finally realized there error...how wrong I was, today I receive in the mail a letter from a collection agency saying I now owe $268.77...are you kidding me..how many times do I have to explain that the membership was cancelled, my daughter even took a copy of the letter and signed certified card to Future Fitness as I was out of state for several months on business and was told it would be taken care of..apparently being take care of means sending the account to a collection agency...besides sending yet another dispute it now seems to be time for a complaint to the Better Business Bureau..stay away before this happens to you there are plenty of reputable, professionally run gyms around...Future Fitness is not one of them

If you are thinking about signing up with Future Fitness, DON"T DO IT!!! Their "specials" are all scams and, upon research, I am finding out they will do ANYTHING to con you out of your money. I went to take the tour of their gym in December. I notified Matt, the assistant manager, who was also the sales man that day, that it was to be a Christmas gift from my mother. The more he went over the prices and things I realized it was just too much money!! He was so pushy and demanding, he even convinced me to "start filling out the paperwork" so when I came back with my mother everything would be so much easier. I put right on the form that I would not be the purchaser, my mother would. I contacted them shortly after and told 2 different people I was not interested and they made it seem like that was sufficient. Long story short, it is now March and they are saying not only was my contract, which was never even fully completed, is in effect but the only way out of it would be to pay them $160 for a gym that I never used NOT ONE TIME!!!! Do yourselves a favor and don't even go on the tour!!! It's not worth it and unless you make enough money to pay THOUSANDS on a gym, you probably can't afford it either!!!!

Worst gym I've ever been a member of. I am going to ask for a refund. My salesman Eric was so creepy, pushy and arrogant he monologued non-stop in his script and repeated that he thought about it and decided I was a good fit-they pretend they are a private club! Then I saw the other members, and highly doubt that's true. Unprofessional is the nicest word I can use to describe the staff, crude might be better. The male staff leer and always want to say hello (I am trying to work out) and are constantly locker-rooming and clowning on the floor. Most of the equipment is dirty and broken. The classes suck, it's a con.

I belonged to aquatic fitness, which eventually merged with future fitness. I am so unhappy here now. gym is packed with antiquated equipment, I've worked out for twenty years now and I haven't seen some of these workout benches ever. They promised all new equipment, which meant 5 new machines, and they left all the good equipment at the other location, which is not open to members the trainers train clients all the while they are texting on their phones, so unprofessional. I feel so bad for the clients who have actually hired them.

Extremely rude, arrogant staff. There was immense pressure to join the gym after a 10 minute tour. Was questioned about "why it was too much money" for us to shell out. Was told that they don't care if we wanted to join or not.

The guy who showed us around was one of the most arrogant sales people I have ever come across. Stopped talking to us and was extremely rude when we said we needed more to time to think about joining.

Would strongly recommend NOT joining if your looking for a healthy, stress free environment to work out.

High pressure sales, rude unfriendly staff.
Watch out for the fine print, especially if you want to quit.
VERY expensive( more than double most others) and dirty locker rooms
don't walk barefoot unless you want atlelites foot (no extra charge) would give no stars if possible

Wow! just moved to the area and was looking up gyms to check out. Based on the reviews here I don't think I will even step foot in Future Fitness. It's pretty obvious that the 5 star ratings given are their own people since they have no other reviews except Future Fitness attached to their names(some with several, are they using all those locations, I don't think so). It seems that their lack of customer service, cleanliness, and sales practices has to be costing them $1,000's in business. All I know is they won't be seeing my money or me.

After moving out of the area I tried to cancel my future fitness membership. Dodd referred me to the accounting department in order to cancel my membership. The women on the phone told me that I needed to come in in person to cancel my membership. After explaining I no longer lived in the area she told me well you need to give me proof that you moved (which by the way is in no way relevant to canceling a membership). I told her I would pay the 3 month exit cancellation fee and be done with it. She told me I needed to send a letter in order to cancel the membership so I said fine, what is your email address and she said that would not suffice. I needed to snail mail a letter. I asked why and she said it was policy. I asked why are they making it so difficult for me to pay the three month cancellation and she said, that is just how we do it. I am very close to contacting my credit card company to dispute this policy. Long story the short is nice but expensive and the business side of the company is completely unprofessional. Save your money and get an LA Fitness or Planet Fitness membership. Future Fitness stinks.

They have to be the worst gym in the area!
Very high pressure sale people! Won't let you take the membership home to think about and read it more carefully.
THIS SHOULD BE A RED FLAG!!!
Hope Channel 3, 6 or 10 will look into the way Future Fitness
is run and how unhappy the members are!

They use a high pressure sales pitch right off the bat. They say the club is the best around and that membership is limited - though they won't say what the limit is nor what the current membership is at, and its always over crowded in the evenings. They charge a ridiculous "initiation fee" which gives you no real benefit. No one wipes down equipment, especially not the trainers. Worst of all, when you try to cancel, say they'll charge you 3 months and never stop billing you. They billed me for 9 months after cancellation. No one would answer my calls and I could only leave voice mails which were never returned. I visited the place twice to try to speak with someone - the receptionists were rude - spending most of their time socializing rather than assisting members. FF is a bunch of unprofessional creeps who don't care about members... sooner or later, they will screw you over. Stay far, far away (I'd give no stars if I could - or negative stars).

Stay far away. As an original member of the Aquatic & Fitness Center (AFC), I have watched during the past year as the Future Fitness merger took place. The sales team is highly unethical. For example they tried to get AFC members to pay $1000 upfront for the new gym with promises of fabulous things and heavy threats that our membership dues would be raised significantly, while they were running Future Fitness ads in the paper offering cheap memberships. When we would ask about the discrepancy in membership dues, we were given all kinds of excuses and double talk. The sales people are pretty sleezy, offer a different deal and a different story every week, and use a heavy sell approach that would have made used car dealers look shy and reserved. Now that we are in the new gym, it is obvious that what the owners promised is not what they delivered. TI am so glad that I "smelled a rat" early in the process and did not give them any upfront money. For example, they promised state of the art video equipment at every piece of cardio equipment and that has not happened: the equipment that is there is old and not well maintained: and as a result of the cheapest, shoddiest construction, the "fabulous" locker rooms are already starting to fall apart and are filthy.

Although I was first excited to see the renovations, after using the made over facility for a few months now, I am shocked at the filthy conditions of the locker room. The steam room reeks of mold and mildew. It breaks down a few times a week, and instead of drying it out and sanitizing it, they just keep the door closed and let the moisture breed germs as it becomes room temperature. I have seen the same hair on the walls of the showers day after day, and the same lint and dirt lays in the corners week after week. I have seen managers enter the locker room, so they have to know the conditions, yet seldom do I see anyone cleaning anything other than the sinks. I am actually worried about catching something when I use the facilities. I am considering ending my 5-year membership.

BEWARE! I visited Future Fitness Center in Cherry Hill, NJ and to my dismay, the salesmen were pushy and refused to let me look at their gym until they wasted 45 minutes of my time. After 15 minutes of them explaining to me that I should feel special if I am "accepted" to workout there, I left. He kept repeating that they "control the number of members." Riiiight. After 15 minutes I just asked them if I could look at the equipment and they flat out told me "no, not until we sit down for 45 minutes." Are you kidding me? I stormed out of there. PLEASE BEWARE!

I so enjoy hanging out in the steam rooms after my work out. It is sooo soothing. It really relaxing and clears your sinuses as well. I suggest everyone try it.

I'm loving the new club. All the equipment is fantastic. Great trainers. I can't wait for the new salt water pools to be open. From what I hear, the salt water pools are the best.

The daycare facility actually has a wii for my son to play while I work out. This is fantastic. No more complaining about not having anything to do in the daycare.

Don't fall for their crap. Been members for 8 years, this month they instituted some bogus enhancement fee without notifying membership. Called when I almost bounced a check - 8 days later they had still not called me despite my leaving at least 10 messages. Husband called and was told by salesman Jeff that he didn't have time for this bs (apparently I have to edit because it is offensive, yet this word was said to paying customers.. Finally got ahold of manager last night. Gave me an explanation that the members at the club they merged with AFC were happy to pay a $890.00 initiation fee to re-join their new company. They all must be nuts. I was nuts ot have paid so much to join to begin with. Of course, we were special and were the kind of members they wanted (suckers) Told that people were thrilled with paying to join again and all the ammenities they offer. I had also been told by 4 staff members that they could take out this extra money because I HAD NO CONTRACT but yet was told that I had to give 90 days notice to discontinue my membership. Which is it Future Fitness. Either I have a contract or I don't. GM finally agreed to cancel both of our memberships, however, I am holding my breath that they don't take money out of my account in April. I still am out the new ANNUAL ENCHANCEMENT FEE which was taken without my prior authorization and March's dues. I don't know how or why they get away with this. Are people that gullible that they will just fork over more money without questioning why? I guess the owner got in over his head financially and is trying to get the membership to bail him out. I must say I did talk to the owner at one point - I tracked him down at another facility and lied to get to speak with him (he also told me I had no contract) and he just BS'd me too and offered to give me a t-shirt the next time I came in to Cherry Hill. Someone should start a class-action lawsuit against these people.

I've been a member several years, and was about ready to leave until they announced the much needed 80s makeover. I belong to another gym that is extremely well maintained and high tech, and I paid a membership at FF in Cherry Hill because it is close to my girlfriend's. I am happy with the renovations, but am very disappointed with the maintenance. I worked out today and yesterday, and the same dirt was on the floors leading to the showers, both paper towel dispensers in the men's locker room broken or empty, the trash can was overflowing with used paper towels, and a soap dispenser had fallen off the wall and was still laying on the sink for at least 2 days. That means that no cleaning or maintenance had occurred the entire weekend. The manager is indifferent, as I saw him lounging in the old juice bar area. Does he not even breeze through the locker room to assess the performance of his cleaning staff? Is there no cleaning staff? I am very concerned with the level of cleanliness.

My AFC was taken over by Future fitness in cherry hill. Our gym, esterbrook, was closing, so we initially were told. Over to the new place we were told we could sign up, give them money to hold our current price. Every month a new deal came out, every member had a different story. It was like a car dealership, worse. Because they had attitudes, poor attitudes. We went to the new facility, and the attitudes continued. The place is nice enough, but the layout leaves something to be desired, and do I want to pay for fancy TV in locker room?
And you pay for every little thing. Find an extra charge every Jan: called up, administrative fees: with no notice.
We left, went to cherry hill health and raquet: very nice, got free passes to try the place, 2 weeks free, signed 2 for price of one, great attitudes, they are there for YOU, not like future fitness, who I suspect had money problems and had to merge w/ AFC due to their business model.

I went to Future Fitness today in Cherry Hill and I have never experienced anything weirder than it The sales person was overly aggressive and full of crap. I very politely answers the same questions over and over again but even after 45 minutes of talking, I had no clue what membership fees would be... He said he control their membership and I asked how many people have joined Cherry Hill branch and he said they have 2500 active members. The place is so tiny... I had to leave because they kept me waiting calculating how much would be my membership fees... this is ridiculous. the staff was rude and I kind of felt that they play based on customer's situation... Never experiences anything like this in the five years I have member of various sports clubs across the country.

Although most of the below reviews are harsh... many of them are true. I was never comfortable working out at Future Fitness. The sales staff is overly aggressive, the trainers stare at you, and the desk staff indicate that they would much rather be talking to someone else. The gym does have a number of class offerings and I really did enjoy using their pilates machines. Other than that, I would not recommend this gym to anyone. In fact, my husband decided to cancel his membership as well.

I read these reviews before I went there for a tour. I decided to see for myself because there's mixed comments on here. The tour did take longer than I expected (about an hour) but the man who signed me up was polite and answered all my questions. Now I have been a member for over a year and am glad I joined, because it's the first gym I joined that I actually keep going. We all get a free trainer who I can say really is good. Mine is knowledgeable and takes the boredom out of my work out. But the classes are the best! They have everything you could ever want, and I love the teachers! Plus the classes are free. Some places charge extra for certain classes, but not here. The only thing I would like to see change is have the daycare hours extended, including Sundays. Check it out yourself if you're looking for a gym, and see if it meets your needs.

ZERO RATING! I joined preconstruction so called "DEAL"... sure they promise you the free trainer, free nurse, free doctor if needed. GOOD LUCK getting a personal trainer. First time I was booked with a lady trainer and found out she is the manager of the trainers and that it was a mistake. I left pist. The second appointment with another lady training. I was psyched for my 7 PM training. It was 7:20 already and I still was not being seen for my 7PM appointment. I spoke to the General Manager . He threatened to cancel my membership since I said "I am not impressed so far and this is so f- up". He asked me if I wanted to still train me since this particular lady trainer has to do what he says and I said no I would feel very awkward. I should have told him to cancel my membership on the spot. He then changed his tune and scheduled me with the another lady trainer which did not happen she was too busy making a full schedule for a new customer! I said my time is valuable too and this is my second time trying to get a personal trainer. I called to complain to the general manager again but he never returned my call. I then spoke to a second manager via phone another day since I never heard back from the first General Manager. When I asked second general manager if he had a few minutes to hear what happened in the Mullica Hill Center he said "NOT REALLY" but "GO AHEAD" . Customer Service SUCKS. They promised nothing. They gladly take your money but that is it. I had to pay for the 90 day cancellation yesterday when I decided I will not be spoken to in a demeaning manner by anyone nor be a member of a gymn that employs such demeaning, arrogant people. I sure hope the President reads this and fire all of them. I wrote an email to the human resource department as well.

Its the best of the 3 gyms in the S. Jersey area that I have belonged to. Free personal training once/month, and free evaluation of physical fitness each month.

They use a high pressure sales pitch right off the bat. They say the club is the best around and that membership is limited - though they won't say what the limit is nor what the current membership is at, and its always over crowded in the evenings. They charge a ridiculous "initiation fee" which gives you no real benefit. No one wipes down equipment, especially not the trainers, who leave the place a mess. Worst of all, when you try to cancel your membership, they say they'll charge you 3 months, but then never stop billing you.
And any positive review on here is written by them - probably the reason they won't talk to anyone with any issue - they ignore them and write sham reviews

I read some of the reviews before posting this one and I'm a little shocked. I've been a member for a few months now and I love it there. I'm losing weight and feeling good. My sales person was just that, a sales person. I contacted them initially, not the other way around. I was already interested in joining. I was told in the tour that it was a 90 day cancel policy. Most other places are 60 days, but am I really going to cry over another $40. Zumba class and pilates classes are fun. Spinning really gets my heart going and the adrenaline running. Love it here. Doubt I'll ever quit.

I've been a member for years and see constant upgrading of the club. Always a new machine, class or addition to keep it fresh. I think the people who complained are the ones who join and then never use it. Who's fault is that? It's clean and the maintenance is good, compared to other gyms I've been to in the past. I'll agree the sales pitch is a bit drawn out but they seem eager to show you everything when they take you around, and after all, it is their job. The equipment is the best you'll find, and the teachers and trainers are really positive and helpful. They have EVERY type of class possible! Just don't get too annoyed with the sales person because you only see them the day you join!

I went in there today at Mullical Hill, because I WANT to join a gym. I saw the place, nice, new, just what I was looking for. The sales person who took me on the tour ruined it for me. I am interested basically in the classes. But He insisted on dragging me to all the weight machines, I tolerated all of that fine.
Where he lost me was on the robotic sales drill. He "acted like he was concerned about what I wanted in a gym, but his bottom line was to get my money no matter what. The guy was obnoxious. And the black girl at the front desk is a stuck up snob. No one wants to deal with that. I just want to get back to exercising and feel healthy,
But instead I get beat up by a punk.

I did not commit. I said I want to try it first, He then said he didn't think his boss would allow non memebers to be with members, because of limited space. Yeah right!

When he realized I wasn't joining today, he was rude.He also said the price would go up by $100.00 to $399.00 on the inisiation fee. I said good ,fine. Couln't wait to get out of there. I'll never go back.

When he realized I wasn't joining today, he was rude.He also said the price would go up by $100.00 to $399.00 on the inisiation fee. I said good ,fine. Couln't wait to get out of there. I'll never go back.

Pros: none

Cons: the staff run far away

Salesman is just that....a salesman. His job is to sell a gym membership, for the most that he can. Isn't that what all salesman do??? I expected just that when I walked in. I expected to be told a bunch of nonsense, sit there for too long and be given an expensive proposition to join. I only listened to a fraction of what he said, and refused to pay no more than $35/month.
The gym seems clean, equiptment available, fellow gym-goers nice, and I see results after just a month.
Bottom Line is that you get what you make out of it....

He's knowledgeable and takes the boredom out of my work out.

I was a member of Future Fitness for 2 years and in hindsight, it was the worst gym experience I have ever had. From the previous posts, there is no need for me to elaborate on the sales pitch. It is aggressive, ignorant, demeaning, and completely false. Why did I join then? Strictly location. The big selling point is differentiation from other gyms in the area. Their equipment is just equipment, nothing special. The free weight area is understocked and always crowded. Maintenance and cleanliness is poor in both the Cherry Hill and Berlin locations I visited. What you need to know is, they are in the contract business, not the fitness business. They are there to sell contracts, and if you do not read every single letter you will regret it deeply. I was told that after the original 1-year contract expired, I would be month to month and could quit at any time. The salesman NEVER told me about a 90-day cancellation policy, where you must pay for 90 more days regardless of using the facilities. Rather than thank me for my business and wish me back in the future, they ignorantly shuffle you to the door and demand 3 more months of dues. I understand contracts. I am an MBA and business owner myself. Shame on me for listening to the salesman, and not reading the fine print based on his interpretation of the contract. The woman in accounting even said that the contracts were changed because of these complaints to clearly reflect the 90-day policy. Well then, shouldn't something be done for those who joined earlier? NOPE!

The bottom line is, Future Fitness is the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with in any industry. The previous posts by others who feel the same way are accurate, and I would avoid this gym altogether. There is nothing special inside. All I found was a filthy environment, an incredibly rude staff, and a sales pitch & contract that makes you feel as if you are buying a used car. I suggest clearly reading the negative posts above, all are true

WOW....Some disgruntled people on here. Well I signed up at the Mullica Hill location in Sept. of 2008 and the salesman was a bit long winded but VERY informative. The price is slightly higher than any other gyms in the area but the place is gorgeous and has WAY better equipment that the previous 2 places I was a member at. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff, the man who signed me up says hi with a big smile every time he sees me and has even worked out with me on occasion and helped me out with the equipment. The girls at the front desk know me by name and are friendly (and nice to look at too). My trainer which is free by the way, has been a trainer for 30 YEARS and has helped me a lot. Every month or so I get a "fitness evaluation" which shows my bodyfat, measurements, metabolism and a few other things for free. Neither LA fitness or Ballys did that for me. I will admit that the sales tour was a bit long and drawn out but a 1 hour sales pitch was def worth it for what they offer. I can't vouch for the other locations but the Mullica Hill Future Fitness is great, and I have referred them 4 people 3 of which joined and are as happy as me.

MY WIFE WAS PRESSURED INTO JOINING AND WHEN SHE TRIED TO CANCEL SHE WAS TOLD TOO BAD IT WAS PAST 3 DAYS.NOW THEY WANT YOU TO PAY FOR 90 DAYS PLUS THE YEARS DUES BEFORE YOU CAN CANCEL...THEY WOULD'T EVEN CONSIDER ANY REASONABLE SOLUTION EVEN THOUGH SHE NEVER USED THE FACILITY....AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE

If you think their sales tactics are aggressive, try this on for size! If you try to cancel your membership they will bill you for three more months of membership even though you have just cancelled your contract. If you refuse to pay their outrageous fees for a service you're no longer receiving, they will take you to collections and harrass you to no end. Your credit will be affected, and they will tack on a $25 late fee for every month you are late in paying the money that is not rightfully theirs.
CAVEAT EMPTOR!

Pros: The staisfaction of giving them a lousy review for the world to read.

Cons: aggressive sales, bad service, unfair contract clauses.

I read these reviews and agree that some of the sales pitch is a pretty hard sell. But the facility itself and the programs they have are fantastic. I think the sales doesn't need to be like that, because the place is so above and beyond the other gyms anyway. I just gave my wife a membership for Christmas after I have been coming since the begining of the summer. I already thought it was a lot better than Bally's, which was the only other gym I have ever joined before this. My wife totally agrees and we feel like there's something for each of us. I just want to lift weights but she likes classes and just had her first appointment with her trainer, and loved it. The club is pretty clean and there's a lot of nice equipment. The nurse in the Cherry Hill club was really helpful and sweet. We just heard that there's going to be a big expansion to the gym, adding on new space and upgrading everything. We're happy about that. So if you can overlook that you may not like your sales person who's signing you up, remember that you'll like the rest of your experience.
