Adelphia Restaurant

My daughter had her Sweet 15 there in the conference room. Ginny was a great hostess! Although there was a slight misunderstanding with the time, the event was wonderful and my daughter had the time of her life. The staff was accommodating with our dance rehearsal and with setting everything up to my specifications!!

We were a party of 4 to celebrate Mother's Day. Although we were not taking advantage of the complimentary valet service, a very nice young man assisted us in getting our 95yr. old mom out of the car. The service continued to be wonderful and the food was exceptional. We feel that the buffet was a very good deal and I have already recommended them to a friend who is looking for a Sunday brunch next Sunday. My tip for other customers..come hungry...

food is just ok...service was/is slow....management is not accomodating or very nice. The owner (BILL) is ARROGANT and RUDE. Never ever pay with your debit bank card as it is Adelphia's practice to place a pending/hold on funds way in excess of actual charge. For example say your bill is $20.00 they will hold funds in your checking account in the amount of $50.00 for up to 5 business days and the owner and management defend the right to do it and will tell you that your complaint(s) are a waste of their time and come talk to them once the overcharge hold is removed and the actual amount of your receipt is charged in FIVE BUSINESS DAYS! The owner "Bill" has ARROGANT disregard for his good customers.

A group of fourteen, we went to Adelphia's for dinner. The food was excellent. The conversation and waitress were warm, but the service was on the slow side. The restaurant was not very busy.

This is a fine place for a large group event. Presentation and accomidation was well received. They are sure to meet your expectation. I would recommend this restaurant for a group event.

If you are looking for a place to have your event, whether it be a wedding, birthday party, shower, Adelphia is the place to go.
They leave no detail undone. Food excellent, service superb.

After being told my reservation, which I made three weeks in advance, still meant I had to wait 30 - 45 minutes, I realized I was not in for a good time. Reservation by definition means, an arrangement by which accommodations are secured in advance; to set apart for a particular person. This is not Adelphia's definition. However, it was Father's day and all the restaurants in the Deptford area would be busy so we reluctantly decided to wait. After 40 minutes we were led to the far reaches of the first floor in a makshift seating area and placed at a table under a staircase. It was gloomy! Furthermore, the table was unset and dirty. After that was rectified the waiter poured water and never returned - that is we waited seven minutes and then walked out, frustrated, dissapointed and determined to never return. There were four of us, two children, it was Fathers Day - and this was not what we reserved!

Waitress and waiters could hardly speak a word of english... Actually gave wrong beer, kinda crazy!!

SAD how a diner tries to be more then what it is...

Food not up to par, staff is not worth the effort, ppl generally not nice...

Adelphia's is a great banquet facility. We recently went to a 70th birthday party there.Not only was the wait staff friendly and courteous but their food is so mouth watering. That was the first time I had ate there and I was quite impressed.

Great place for meals, and an incredible banquet facility. For a recent wedding i was amazed by the ability of this facility to serve a large group with hot food, quickly and with a "show" - recommend to anyone.

i have had the luck to have been at this facility for both regular meals as a patron of the restuarant and for fundraiser fashion shows where our meals were catered in their ball rooms !!

both were fantastic- great fresh foods tasty meals excellent servers and great prices for what you get !

the gals in my family even took me there for a celebration prior to the birth of my 4th child and they accomadated us ncely at one large table and had no isssues with balloons gifts that were brought along !

excellent customer service cannot be beat !

I would definitely have a wedding or retirement party here. The atmosphere is pleasant, they do very versatile parties , and on a Friday night you will have a great time. THe food is spectacular and the waitresses go out of their way for you! A++++++

PROS: aesthetics are very unique and interesting, food tastes wondeful!!
CONS: prices

This place is really nice! The food is great and the prices are not outragious. At dinner time they tend to be a little on the busy side, so if you are planning on dining here, try to get there a little early. They even have a banquet room that alot of people use for rehersal dinners for their weddings and for baby showers or bridal showers. On Friday and Saturday nights they turn part of the restaurant into a night club. So if your looking for good food and a little dancing and night life, they have it all!
