I visited this vet few days ago for an allergy reaction for my 10 year old cat. I found the staff very friendly but I do not think doctor is honest. The doctor did unnecessary test for bacteria and charged three times high for same medicines I could get in the market. Please be careful when visiting this place and you can end up with 300$ for simple allergy like me. In one of the sites about this Vet, it reported about reuse of equipment and what surprised me was the specimen plate that doctor wanted to collect sample fell on the floor and he simply picked up and continued. When I asked about charges, the response given to me was that was how other doctors also charge. I learnt my lesson not to go to any doctor without references. Apparently Pet Insurance does not monitor the activities of Vets. It is sad to see how greedy vets will discourage people from adopting pets because they simply cannot afford these unfair costs.

I have found Dr. Bach and the staff of Marlboro Village Veterinary Hospital to be one of the best facilities for animal care in the area. Dr. Bach is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and considerate. He will always go the extra mile. The staff is caring, understanding, and very supportive. It is obvious from the first time you enter that they truly love animals and are dedicated to their health and well being. This facility is a true blessing to the community.

I have been reading some of the reviews of this place and just can't believe some of the things you people are saying. How dare you talk about money when it comes to your animals. I don't have all the money in the world either but if you can't afford the bills that come with having a pet..THEN DON'T GET ONE. You want to talk about not caring? You say Dr Bach and his staff are uncaring. Look at yourselfs. All you can do is talk about money. He helps so many animals. and oh he worked with a gross pet store. at least he helped those puppies whether the pet store owners deserved it or not if he didn't who would. Your all selfish and don't once think about the animals. Dr Back is a great vet and his staff is sooo sweet they make a great team I love that place and will bring all my animals there no matter how much it costs me because I know they are in good hands. Thank you so much Dr Bach and staff

\r\nDear Dr. Bach and Staff:\r\n\r\nAfter almost 2 1/2 years it's time to say goodbye! I wanted to thank you for all of your years of care, advice and love you gave us!\r\n\r\nI feel like I'm not going to see my friend anymore and knowing your advice and care was always a phone call away ans was always reasuring.\r\n\r\nI know the end of my dogs life was so sudden, and I was very sad to be away from him. I was reassured that he did not suffer one bit. He left us as quickly and sweetly and peacefully as his life was!\r\n\r\nThanks again with my whole heart!\r\n

Marlboro Village Veterinary claims that they have been treating bunnies for the last 15 years. Their fees are very high, they treated our bunny for constipation, cost over $500 for one visit. They gave us false hopes and our bunny pass away the next day.

My Dog passed away over the weekend at home but I want everyone to know that my family took great comfort in the fact she received the best care possible from Dr. Jonathan Bach and his staff! During the entire time she was a patient and a boarder at your home she was in very good hands. I call it home because my dog actually like to come and see you guys and girls and always made her feel safe as if it was her own house. She always loved getting her bandanna and always came home happy, never stressed. My dog was a gentle giant and lived a very good life until the age 12 which for a Rottie is longer than most. You were a big factor in this. You have always given us the bighter side of any problems we have encountered in the past. Even during this last month you never gave up on which is something most people would have done. You have a lot of compassion for animals that cannot speak for themselves. It would be nice if more people could be as gentle as were with their own lives. I know that other pets in very caring and loving hands. I know you did all you could and please take comfort in the fact she did not suffer it was just her time. My dog was a big teddy bear with an even bigger heart - kind of like he doctor! She has now crossed over the rainbow bridge and watches over us from above! Thanks for all you did!

Thank You,
Dr. Bach and his wonderful staff at Marlboro Village Vet!

i took in my puppy to get neutered after the doc recommended it and after the surgery (a routine procedure as any vet would tell you) my dog started to urinate blood a few days later, he also seemed to be feeling worse instead of better after a few days (he was just humped over could not straighten himself out completely and cried all the time). i paged the vet twice the night that the bleeding got worse and never received a call back. it was a holiday, yes, but i did not know what else to do...i also feel that if a vet is truly dedicated he would at least call back after being paged twice...obviously it was an emergency and he knows that an animal cannot express itself! anyway, we had to take the dog to an emergency care vet hospital and they could not tell what was wrong with my dog. the doctor there thought it was very strange what was occurring after such a routine procedure. i felt that she did not want to say too much just in case. They ran all kinds of tests and they came back negative for infection, no clotting problems, etc. but his red blood cells were low. we were sent home with antibiotics (just in case). we were also told that we had to recheck the red blood cells the next day to make sure it wasn??t dropping even lower. marlboro village vet had called the next morning and asked that we come in so that he can check the blood cells himself at no charge of course. the blood cell levels had stabilized but i did confront the vet about not calling back when i had paged him in the first place when 2 other vets in the area (who did not know me) called me back. his response was (not even with a show of regret) yeah...i had to be with my family. hey i wanted to be with my family too but the dog was so bad off who could enjoy sitting at the dinner table? after that visit, the dog was no better off and still crying and bleeding...we took him back to the emergency care doctors who still could not figure out what was going on but had pulled out his stitches early to make him more comfortable...it had worked...the dog started to act more like himself immediately. he went outside and did his business without crying and he was able to sit up straight. i couldn't believe what a turn around pulling out the stitches had on my dog. so after hundreds of dollars spent on emergency care in addition to the money spent on the surgery and the suffering that my dog and we had to go through, it seemed like the stitches were the problem? when i told the vet about this his response was oh good i am glad that was taken care of...no compassion, no offering to cover some of the expense that we incurred for his negligence...nothing. do not go there if you want good care for the pets that you care about.

Dr. bach is a terrible doctor. Every thing he has ever suggested to me for treatment of my dog was proven wrong by multiple other vets. Not to mention he works with that disgusting pet store pet paradise. His exam fees are over $50!!! and watch out he likes to perform unnessary treatment without the owners consent and massivly charges them for it. He does not care one bit about his clients just money. His staff is very friendly and he does not deserve them.
