Fresh tortillas tat melt in your mouth, big cinnamon rolls, cheap(but addictive) mochas, fresh OJ and the best late hours place in town. Did you happen to see any pictures of John Wayne in there? It's like a museum of John Wayne. It's cheap and cool.

Great comfort food. Love the fresh tortillas and cinnamon rolls. I started going here as a UNM student and continue to go there when I'm in the area.

Great food but you have to deal with the homeless coming in from time to time. The Mexican food is good and the Cinnamon rolls are to die for!

This place was really cool very child friendly. The prices are cheap and the food was good. Very interesting crowd of people. We had breakfast and all I can say is you have to try the cinnamon rolls. The breakfast burrito with green chili was very tasty. Service was fast and friendly.

This place has a huge menu and some great food. The only down side is it is always really crowded and because of it's location has had some crime incidents. But otherwise a great place to eat.

Pros: Food, prices (it's cheap!), cinnammon rolls, coffee, anything with chiles!

Cons: Parking - hard to navigate in one way areas but there are plenty of parking spots

.

When I arrived on 9/2/8, I parked next to a sign that said "45 minute Frontier Parking." I thought, "Rude to limit your customers... but we'll be in and out and on our way in no time."

Pros: Good location for a restaurant. College students will eat anything.

Cons: Bad location for the patron. Frontier doesn't understand how to empower their customers.

So on you're on your way to Albuquerque, for the first time ever, and you want to experience a place that is truly one of the most bizarre, original, quirky, downright scary at times, places to eat a meal. Plan a trip to the Frontere. It

Pros: Homeless people, Breakfast , 24 hours, John Wayne, The little paper hats they like to wear

Cons: Homeless people, 2AM crowd, Securtiy guards, people that go there that warrant having security guards, occasion problems "the next day"

.

The Frontier is an old Alburqueque institution, serving up heaping portions of old American and New Mexican standbys cafeteria style. The green chile stew is probably the single best item on the large menu and thankfully it can be added

Pros: With-in UNM walking distance.

Cons: You may get sick.

I've lived in Albuquerque for nearly four years now, and I honestly don't understand the fuss over this place. I mean, it's not like ABQ is lacking good, reasonably priced places to eat.\r

Cons: cheaply prepared food with cheap ingredients, horrible atmosphere...

The place needs to be cleaned and scrubed with soap and water. I would rather go hungry and eat there again. But hey, if you want bad food, dirt and noise, go there so you can look at all the strange people walking by.

Cons: all bad

This is a must for any Albuquerque resident. Food is prepared fast and is always good. Takeout is an option, I usually leave with a dozen tortillas. The late morning weekend breakfast is always crowded, so be prepared to wait or just go earlier or later. Since it is located opposite UNM, students are frequent customers, but this is by no means just a college hangout.

PROS: Great Food
CONS: Potentially long lines on weekends

you live in New Mexico, you love the new mexican food, frontiers is a must go. it locates at the corner of central and conell, across the bookstore of UNM. It is a "fast food" restaurant, which means there is no tip necessary. It is also not a so fast food restaurant, which means everything is prepared as you order. check out the totilla machine in the corner of the restaurant, it is working like magic and makes you feel like having at least a dozen of them.
