Springstone decided to change their policies without notifing me, or any other client of theirs'. Illegeal? At least grossly substandard practice. The teacher to student ratio has decreased, and in a rather sneaky, profit maximizing way. The fees did not decrease, just the service...and all behind the backs of the clients. This is not my main concern, but what else are they doing behind the back of parents. This is a simple BAIT -n- SWITCH scenario. definitely not what I or my daughter signed up for. BEWARE.

Worse School I've seen... I had to file a abuse report Dec 21, 2012 with the cops instead of addressing the issue with their staff they drop my son to hide the incident. Sad and I hope the administration takes action. unfair my son has to go with out his friends because of low standards. I had to repeatedly tell the head teachers about seeing staff kiss kids on the mouth. Head teachers would say they would talk with the teachers.

My son has been at this school for a lil over two years. We both love it. We live clearly across town but I wouldn't take him any where else. The teachers are great and they take care of him as if he was one of there own. At three years old my son knows so much it amazes me more and more every day what he learns on a daily bases. I recommend this school to anyone and everyone who values there childrens education.

I have to take a minute to write about Ethan's experience at Springstone. I enrolled him at Springstone in January 2010, after having a bad experience with a local daycare. Within a week, Ethan was looking forward to coming to school each day. That is reason enough to appreciate Springstone, but when you add the fact that he is sounding out the letters on signs as we drive down the road, Springstone has far surpassed my expectations! As a working mom, I have to feel comfortable dropping my son off at preschool each day, and thanks to Springstone, I feel great!

I have been involved with SpringStone as a parent for the last 7 years. Both my children attended SpringStone (my daughter just left for kindergarten) and I have seen it change a grow into an excellent school. The teachers were always attentive to my daughters needs and were always open to listening to me as a parent. The administrative staff was always helpful in answering questions. I also served as a member of the Parent Advisory Board amd therefore was very involved in many of the school activities. Overall I believe my children were very well cared for and received an excellent education. I will miss the school as much as my girl will!

I have a daughter who has attended SpringStone for the past 2 years and just started her first week of kindergarten this week. I must say that I loved our SpringStone experience from start to finish and wish that my child never had to leave. Her teachers were compassionate, loving, knowledgeable, and helpful all in one. I will forever be grateful to her teachers and the administration for the wonderful care they provide. I cried buckets having to leave. I would recommend SpringStone to anyone without a doubt. Their quality of care was miles above any other center I have ever seen. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Both of my children attend SpringStone @ Paradise. I have to say lots of good stuff about this school. My oldest son is 4 and he is leaving now to go to kindergarten. He is above all the school standard requirements for a child his age. He will leave SpringStone knowing how to write his full name and is reading!! He is also doing simple addition and subtraction. My daughter still attends SpringStone in the 2 year old classroom. She loves it. In 1 week her teachers helped me to fully potty trained my little girl. She is so independent that she knows how to clean up after herself and even wash dishes; something they call it practical life. This is a 5 star center; which proves to me that they are in compliance with state regulations and that gives me a lot of peace of mind.

I was extremely disappointed with the Springstone Montessori on Paradise staff. There were a few good teachers, but the rest are lazy, slovenly and put in minimal effort. The administrator and director are worthless. The administrator is as plesant as a stick in the eye. The director has no clue. One time a different teacher was in charge and I got a phone call that my child wouldn't stop screaming and she did not know what to do. When I walked in, they were playing latino rap music on the radio and not paying attention to the children. The teachers were just taking up space and oxygen. The standard of care only applies when you are watching. The center smells of Crisp Linen Lysol spray because they spray down everything with it at the end of the day - even if your kids are still in the room. The kids have to breathe the toxic fumes so that the teachers can clean while the kids sit there unattended. I was very disappointed with the entire experience and would NOT recommend them.

My daughter has been attending SpringStone Montessori's Paradise location for over a year and a half. We have been THRILLED with our experience since day one. The entire staff is amazing... They really care about their students.
The Montessori program has been great for my daughter. She has become independent and self-confident, and I know this program is largely to thank for that.
I will be having my second child later this year, and will DEFINITELY be sending him/her to SpringStone Montessori's Paradise location.

This is an awesome school! My family also experienced the infant room changing to a preschool room and the transition went very smoothly. The school gave us 60 days notice and even though I have had to temporarily find another school, I can't wait for my son to return. They deeply care about the children here and its worth the wait!

I love SpringStone. The experiences my children have had in the 3 years we have attended SpringStone have all been wonderful. The teachers are very loving to the children and always keep me informed of what is happening with my children throughout the day. If my child is ever hurt, ill or in need of any special attention, I always receive a call from the teachers. It is such a comfort to know that my children are in such loving and capable hands when I cannot be with them. As all parents know, it is so hard to have to leave your children in the care of strangers, but after 3 years with SpringStone, I can honestly say that the teachers my children have had over those years have become family.

2/26/10 - Today the Springstone Montessori on Paradise Hills (Albu, NM) called the parents in the infant program to inform them that they are ELIMINATING the infant program in 2 months. That means anyone under the age of 11 months is being kicked out. They claimed it was because there weren't enough infants. 4 new kids started within the past 3-4 weeks. One of those infants started 5 days ago. Why did they accept 4 new kids recently if they were ending the program? Why are they kicking the kids out with two months notice when there is a wait list at any center to get into the infant room? I am horribly disappointed with the manner in which the communication was handled, the short notice, that they are NOT refunding our $250 regiatration that we paid recently and just the general situation, I trusted this school with my child, now I don't trust them anymore. It is a shame because we love the infant teachers. They are awesome and my child is very happy with them. WHY don't they allow the current infants to continue until they are old enough to transition into the next room instead of kicking them out and leaving the parents without daycare?

I was on the whole disappointed with our Springstone experience. I think that they make up for their lack of developmental understanding with projects finished by the adults in the classroom. I was hoping for a good education preschool foundation and a true Montessori approach to learning, unfortunately we got a ridged, teacher centered learning experience. I think that you can slap Montessori on anything these days and have people believe that Marie Montessori would been proud. I was told by a former employee at Springstone that before taking my children out I should have contacted the owner. My question is what is the director for? Shouldn't you be able to get things resolved through the director? I will always pay a pretty penny for my children to go to a preschool that is child centered, they have only one childhood. I feel badly for the children who are left to sit quietly in chairs and do their work like 8 year olds rather than the 2 and 3 year old they are; where is the joy in that kind of structure and no active play. After Rachel the last director left the daycare really changed :0( Don't believe that a 5 star rating has anything to do with the day to day life of your child

THe way that Springstone has their whole floater system is really bad, all they care about is how much money they are making, if there is one child over and they have to much staff, that child will get "bumped" to whatever classroom.

Specifically the Springstone in Paradise Hills. This center really cares about your kids. The staff is so pleasant and caring. My children were there for 2.5 years and I was actually sad to leave!
