Unfortunantly they closed down this place because the many times that I went here it was a lot of fun, and living in the desert any place that provides you a little splash time is well worth it.

This waterpark is gross. It had a ton of slides and a big wave pool and a great looking toddler area. But they were found in violation of a whole bunch of health codes. The snack area was found to be filthy and food was not being handled properly. The time we went there they had to close because they found a large amount of fecal baceria in the wave pool.

The Beach Waterpark was a great day of fun for families, but they closed in May 2005. I have heard that they are looking for a new owner to possibily reopen the facility by summer 2006. This would be really nice as the Beach was the only waterpark in Albuquerque. The seperate toddler area was GREAT for small children as they weren't being plowed down by the big kids. Sorry to see the only water park in the city close!

The Beach Waterpark has your ticket to family fun with a wave of attractions, including seven slides, a wave pool, lazy river, and a kiddie pool. Fun for all ages!
