Excellent food, especially the brisket. Often very crowded at peak times. We often order take=out and eat in the local outdoor area. Rolls/bread are to die for.

I have lived in Albuquerque all my life but had never been to the county line before, but my husband took me and the kids there and the food was wonderful,,,,and oh my god they have this chocolate desert there that is to die for. I was also surprised to see that the owner comes up to your table just to see how your food is!!

PROS: Great Food and family place
CONS: the drive

Excellent BBQ! The brisket is the best I've ever tasted. The beer is ice cold! Try a loaf of their home baked bread - it's great! If you can't finish the entire loaf, take the rest home and make french toast with it.

For a real treat, get there about an hour before sunset and watch the city lights as it gets dark.
