Rick is very good neighborhood mechanic and I have been going to him for many years because of competency and very honesty. Nothing fancy, just a good mechanic. I would much rather go to Rick than the Toyota dealership!!!

Took my 97 Civic Hatch EK9 to have head gasket replaced. Between sending out the head to a machine shop and other customers, it took roughly a month to get back, at first I did not mind because 1, the bill was was tremendously cheap imo!

I called on a Thursday to ask when a good time would be to bring my van in for a tuneup and to have it looked over. Rick told me to bring it in Tuesday between 8 and 9.\r

I have been using Rick for years. He is an excellent mechanic, and totally honest. He will always provide an honest assessment of the problem and repair it promptly at a reasonable cost.

I've used Rick's several times now to fix my old 1988 Accord. Rick and his partner James are honest technicians who have always gotten the job done at a reasonable rate (labor is about $60/hr). Rick has never charged me until he knows exactly what he thinks the problem is, and I've never been jerked around. Shopper beware, though: I don't think he uses genuine Honda parts. If this is of issue to you, be sure to ask for him to special order it (or pick it up & have him install it). Rick also has amassed a number of junker cars over the past few years that folks have left for service and never picked up (he should call a towing company & get rid of them), but it has never seemed to keep him from getting the job done.
