Mop Tops

I too used to enjoy the Cottonwood area. My little girl has very little hair (below ears). Nonetheless, she needs a trim now and then. At Cottonwood they would charge me for a simple bang trim. Now they charge me the same as a girl with hair to her waist!

I use to take my 2 year old to Cottonwood Mall for Mop Tops cuts. Today I had an appointment at the Far North Shopping Mall. I had never been there before so I was 9 minutes late. I was told that I had to re-schedule. I said,"No, Thank you." I know it was my fault but I live 10 miles away, this was my first time there and no one was in the waiting area ! I could understand if there was a huge crowd of moms with their kids waiting but there wasn't - just two kids already getting a cut! I won't be back again unless the Cottonwood Mall opens back up.

I have taken my daughter to this location twice. She is under 2 and the set up is great as it keeps her distracted however I have not been extremely impressed with her hair cut either time. Not worth spending $18 plus tip for that's for sure.

I hate to pay $15 or $16 for a 2 year olds hair cut (girl) - but, its the best way & the easiest way to do it! The first time I went was very easy on my daughter (had a TV in front of her to preoccupy her as well as a fun little animal for her to sit on)...yet, the stylist did a not so great job on her hair. The second time I went the stylist gave her the cutest haircut & I will likely go back for sure!

Wonderfully friendly and personal staff. Reasonable prices for excellent service. Movies playing at each station to entertain kids while they get their hair cut. Candy and trinket prize for each child when they're done. The seats are like the ride-one toys that you put a quarter in for kids. Seal, Horse, etc. They also do wonderful braids and updo's for special occasions. We've never had a bad haircut at Mop Tops.

My experience was great here except for the receptionist, it was a teen that didn't really know what was going on, but my daughter got a great cut and had alot of fun, she really enjoyed the experience!

At Mop Tops, you child will get a great hair cut and have loads of fun at the same time! They have fun little chairs for them to sit in and fun, colorful aprons to keep the hair off of their clothing! Afterwards, they get to pick a prize out of a huge chest!
