This is, by far, the worst retail store in Albuquerque. Even if you can get past its dirty appearance, disorganized feel as you walk in, and rude-disinterested staff, it has the worst return policy in the world. I returned something once, they gave me a "Store Credit" which I find laughable. If I didn't like the quality of your items before somehow a week later it willl change? No. I ended up giving the store credit to someone who hasn't figured out that they shouldn't spend their hard-earned money at a store that is not interested in taking care of their customers. Add on to that the dangerous area that this store is in - you risk your very life just walking in the door!! They constantly have vagrants and people begging money off of you in the parking lot which makes it uncomfortable for single, female shoppers. I am convinced that the staff they hire are must only be high school dropouts with no communication skills that have to work here as a requirement of their probation. Scary - stay away.

When I was pregnant my husband and I decided to shop at Baby Town located in Burlington Coat Factory. We made expensive purchases one being a crib and another being a rocking chair. When my husband picked up the crib from the store he noticed the box was torn and asked the store employee if there could be some damage to the crib but was told it was fine. Once he got the crib home to set it up he noticed the scratches. The rocking chair we purchased has a handle on the side and locks up on us when we use it. We also purchased a bassinett there that is now being recalled. I found myself being disappointed with these purchases and will probably shop somewhere else in the future.

Obviously this person has never before worked in retail and obviously knows NOTHING about retail. I have worked at Victoria's Secret before and as far as I know, the policy that lady is bitching about is the same one every store has. lol. she's just mad at herself for loosing the receipt and apparently just wants to blame someone else.

This Burlington Coat Factory is really nice. I go there all the time to buy clothing for social events and they have a nice selection of clothing for teens and children, they also sell many polo shirts and dress pants that would work if your children attend a school with a dresscode. The people working there seem really nice from when I shopped there. They also have a nice selection of men's suits and the prices are really nice. The parking arrangement is also well done and they are located right next to ross dress for less.

I will never shop at the Burlington Coat Factory in Albuquerque again! I returned a shirt that I bought the day after I purchased it with a receipt. I was given two pieces of paper during my return and when I went back the next week, they required both slips or the one I didn't have for me to use the store credit. I somehow misplaced one of the slips of paper and wouldn't you know it, that was the one that was needed. I know this is a company policy but the cashier that did the return didn't tell me which one to keep for the return! That is $35 that I'll never see again.
