La Bella Spa & Salon

I went there 10 days ago (on Thursday) for signature manicure and pedicure. I was scheduled with a new manicurist who did a pretty bad job. I expressed disatisfaction at the front desk person and her response to me was "would you like to leave a tip". For having spent around $80 on the stuff, it wasn't just a waste of my money but also my time to have gone to such an unprofessional place. I have been to Betty's Bath several times and will definitely stick with them for everything. Unfortunately they don't do manicures/pedicures.

I must say, all my girl friends that have seen name have been completely transformed from New Mexico lack of style for hair to LA bliss. Now they look "hotter" that ever. Such a cute saying. Anyway, they just look like they should be on some hot reality show. Again I am impressed so just see Nam. He's fantastic and the salon itself is gorgeous.
And for my previous review, for those whom have read it & for the person it was about & for Nam, "I apologize!"

I recently made a trip out to NM from TX and last minute decided I needed a wax. I specifically wanted esthetician Deborah to do it and she was more than willing to squeeze me into her schedule. Although it was so last minute, she gave me every bit of time, attention, and detail and never acted like I was inconveniencing her for staying late to do my wax. Thanks again for a great experience!

I drove from Colorado to get my hair cut at this salon as I'd heard good things about it from friends in the area. The staff informed me upon checking in that my hairstylist had gotten sick and didn't come to work that day & they wouldn't have another opening for a couple of days (I had to leave town the next day). Not only that, but the staff was very rude and snobby. I'm one to be kind to all different types of people from all different walks of life, but these girls were salon secretaries! Last I heard that's not really a job that takes a smart person to hold or even a job that pays well so I guess the fact that they had their hair cut at a great discount by professionals and two pounds of make-up gave them the right to act superior. Who knows? I do know I won't be returning to this location.

I have been to La Bella four different times. My first experience was for a hair cut. I informed the hair stylist that I wanted my hair cut to just below my collar bone. As she was cutting my hair she informed me that sometimes she just gets scissor happy and just keeps cutting. If she thought this was funny, I forgot to laugh. That is not something you want to hear as she is cutting away at your hair. I left with hair that was far shorter than I wanted. My second time going there was a couples massage. Nothing awful, but at the same time, nothing amazing. The third time I went was with a friend because I wanted to show her Bare Minerals. The girl who showed it to her was short in her answers and snobby. The last time I went was for a surprise massage and facial that my husband purchased and set up for me. He told me when to go and what I was going to get. When I got there I was sent upstairs and told I was going to get my facial. The facial was fine, it was my first so I don't have anything to compare it to. I then went back to the waiting room and waited, and waited, and waited. I finally found someone to ask about the massage. They said that I was not scheduled for anything other than a massage and that I must be mistaken. I called my husband and he said that a facial and massage were confirmed when he called in. They scrambled for awhile and said I was "luck" because someone had canceled and they could get me a massage. I was also informed that sometimes when you make over the phone reservations that if you get more than one spa option that one of them might not show up in the actual salon. The massage was fine, but left my left shoulder in pain afterward. When everything was finally done I actually had to pay for everything because they didn't bother charging the card my husband gave them. All in all I will never go there again. I have had too many bad experiences here and cannot believe that they mess things up as much as they do.

I had gone into La Bella just to check it out and see what kind of services and products they use and offer. The staff was very helpful, they made sure to call a skincare specialist immediately to answer all of my questions, and they were very nice! This spa by far had exceeded ABQ's expectations!! This place looks and seems like it belongs in LA! Amazing.... I would definitely recommend checking it out.

I recently visited Alb. from Houston and went to La Bella and booked a Brazilian wax with Deborah. She was super friendly, had a great bubbly personality, and did an AMAZING job! She is definitely the top Esthetician at La Bella. The atmosphere is relaxing, the staff is professional, and my experience was great. Next time I visit I'm going to be getting a facial, for sure!

My girl friend and I booked time at La Bella's several months in advance. We arranged our hotel stay close to La Belia's. The staff knew we were coming from out of state, talked to La Bella's staff on 2 different days before the flight. We were not informed that the mineral bath was not operational along with the steam room!At the time for our holistic massage, the salt scrub was not applied to the entire areas to be scrubbed, it was hit and miss. Came time to shower off in the massage room and only one shower head was working, for a room designed for couple or friend massages. The massage was pleasant. My manicure was pleasant, but my girlfriend did not experience acceptable service from the staff. We feel we should have been informed about the service problems and had a choice in whether we wanted the services. I know that working at a spa is just everyday work to the people employed there, but please keep in mind that we choose to have these services, and it is a form of relaxation and spiritual wellness for us When that expectation is not reached you feel like you were cheated. I will not go back to this salon. THERE IS GOOD NEWS! BETTY'S BATH AND SPA IS FANTASTIC, SPENT A WEEK THERE 2 YEARS AGO, DECIDED TO GO BACK AFTER LA BELLA'S EXPERIENCE. TRUST ME I WILL NOT BE LOOKING FOR ANY OTHER PLACE GO FORGET THE HYPE AND GO TO BETTY'S BATH AND SPA GREAT PEOPLE GREAT SERVICES.

I recently visited La Bella Spa & Salon, I took my daughter for a cut and highlights and we were simply amazed at the job done by AJ. He is everything you could want in a Professional Stylist. The highlights were amazing as well as the cut. I highly recommend AJ to those who haven't found that right stylist. I also plan to try the other services that are available....Thanks

I really enjoyed my first experience at La Bella Salon. The male colorist I went to, really knew what he was doing. He put a base color, then the hi lites, and oh what a beautiful job he did. I've paid other salons before for a horrific experience. Some stylists say they know color, really they don't. This guy is indeed an expert on color. Thanks AJ for a job well done!!

My sweet sister in law gave me a gift certificate to La Bella, as she knew that my hair dresser had moved and I really needed a new person. When I got there the receptionist was on a very long call and after about 15 minutes-no exaggeration! she finally told me my assigned person would be with me shortly. Okay, I'm almost an hour into my wait now- I did get there a few minutes early. my appt was for 6pm, I finally sat in the chair at 6:50. The lady that did my hair was nice enough not very verbal. Then when I was finished I went to pay-with my gift certificate- and the young man was not very happy with me. I had the receipt, but not the card. I didn't see the card in my gift envelope but I figured the receipt must be how they do this. The young man didn't chastise me but he certainly took the hairdresser to task. He told her that a restuarant would never honor a gift certificate without the card, etc., etc. It was an uncomfortable situation. I waited while they verified that indeed it had been purchased and not used, then was delighted to be able to leave. The haircut, well, I can truthfully say this is the worst haircut I have ever had and will never go back.PS I didn't receive a neck & shoulder massage

This salon is fab! They are always helpful and suggest new styles for me to try. They have gotten me in on an "emergency" basis when i had a bad dye job and they fixed it. They moved to a new location and nw have a much better space.

I absolutely love this spa - it makes me forget every day life while I'm there relaxing and being pampered! I absolutely love their monthly pedicure specials because they take the pampering another step and include fun, yummy drinks like smoothies.

One of the greatest finds since living here in NM is the La Bella Spa and Salon. You walk in to this place and forget you are in Albuquerque. It feels more like being in a luxurious european city.

I'd specifically recommend their monthy pedicure specials. They include fun drinks like smoothies or mismosas! Who could ask for more?

For Mother's day this year, my son and daughter -in- law gave me a certificate for a massage. I have never been pampered so heavenly or felt so good. I was treated like a royal princess, it was so relaxing.
I hope I get another one next year!

La Bella is a full service Day Spa, nail salon and hair salon
The lounges are enormous with multi-head showers, sauna and hot tub. They offer: massages, nail treatments, bikini waxing, facials and more!
Their staff is highly qualified and very professional. The facility is amazing!. Prices are very reasonable for the relaxation you get in return.

La Bella is a full service Day Spa and Nail and Hair Salon. It is very upscale. There are huge men's and women's lounges with multihead showers, sauna, whirlpool and a full array of toiletries. They offer numerous options in massages, facials, hair and nail treatment, waxing and other services. Their staff is highly qualified and very professional. The facility is extraordinary. Prices are reasonable for the services provided.
