Excellent location to walk anywhere in downtown. All rooms have kiva fireplaces and the foot thick adobe walls make them quiet- regardless which one your choose. Best value in all downtown b&b's by far.

We recently stayed in two properties managed by Rancho Roybal Santa Fe Short Term Vacation Rental. One in town and one a short drive out of town. Both properties were amazing and far exceeded our expectations. We were a family of five travelling to Santa Fe. For a similar cost to staying in a Short Term Vacation Rental we were able to stay in magnificent homes, with all the luxury and space that we needed. The staff at Rancho Roybal Santa Fe Short Term Vacation Rental were professional and assisted us with information and advice. Do not look any further for your next stay in Santa Fe. You will not be dissapointed. Great homes, great service and great value.

We loved our stay at the Pueblo Bonito Inn. We found the owners to be most accommodating quickly providing us with alternate rooms when we found that the room that we have booked did not fit our arrangements. We thoroughly enjoyed the happy hour with the Margarita ??teas?? and the lively conversations with the guests. The hosts were also most knowledgeable about Santa Fe with lots of good advice on where to eat and what to see when time was short. We would love to return to Santa Fe and would definitely stay at the Pueblo Bonito Inn

Unique, charming and one of the best b&b's I've ever stayed in. If you are traveling to Santa Fe, NM on vacation or a quick get a way- I highly recommend this place. It's quiet, small and very welcoming. The location is killer and the value is incredible. We arrived right during happy hour (margaritas -ole!) which was complimentary as was breakfast and parking (on thier grounds). The best part of this place however is definately the history, age and character of the property.

Your visit to Santa Fe is not complete without a trip to Ten Thousand waves. Even if you just take a dip in their hot tubs, you will be transformed. The massage therapists are world class best ever and the ambiance is out of this world.

This spa is worth a visit to Santa Fe, NM. Their layout and ambiance blends into the mountaintop and immediately relaxes. They have beautiful organic-shaped outdoor hot baths, though they're more like hot pools. The layout also offers you a lot of privacy. They have a relaxation room that you can meditate or read or even nap in. They have some really nice and unique treatments. And if you're planning on staying at their resort, they have individual unique and beautifully designed separate structures.

I recently made a visit to Ten Thousand Waves in Santa Fe (January 2, 2009) expecting first class service. Instead, I got the worst massage experience I've ever had.

1) First, to get anywhere on the complex, you have to walk everywhere outside, in only a robe, uphill, in freezing cold weather.
2) Second, I booked a 80 minute massage a recieved a ~40 minute massage.
3) Third, the massage therapist, Frank, spent no time on my hands, feet, or front side of my body. He only massaged my back, the back of arms and the back of my legs.
4) Fourth, when I finished I brought this to the attention of the supervisor (who was on break and I had to wait for 15 minutes to show up) and nothing was done to compensate my horrible and expensive experience.
5) Finally, the place was like a "meat market" of people. It felt more like a cattle farm than a peaceful place to relax.

With so much competition in Santa Fe and surrounding area for Spas, I recommend skipping this high dollar, poor service, terrible experience place!!!

This is a piece of heaven. The saunas and hot tubs are wonderful, the master massage therapists are a gift and they transform you into a loose noodle. The attention to detail and atmosphere transports you to another world. For peace and tranquility this is the place.

Ten Thousand Waves is a stunning Japanese style spa & resort located in the mountains of Santa Fe, NM. From the coy pond in the entry way to the private hot tubs, Ten Thousand waves is nothing but elegant and peaceful.

The services are endless and amazing. Massages, facials, mud wraps, stone massage and so much more. And the staff are all very friendly and talented.

Prices are very reasonable and well worth every penny.

The hot tubs are a MUST and if you can I highly recommend spending a night in the amazingly decorated Japanese rooms that are tucked away in the wood.

One on the best spa/resorts I've ever been to!!

This was my first and last visit to ten-thousand waves....... the massage was more like tourture than anything else. "Darma" broke a bone in my face with his so called chakra . The water in the jaccuzi was so cloudy and filthy you couldn't see your feet if you dared put them in. I wouldn't recomend anyone sit in their tubs. I think that with as much as they charge they could fix it up some. Le Bellas in Alb. is so much cleaner and professional.

This is the most relaxing setting you will ever find. Tucked away in Hyde Park National Forest, the spa is literally cut into the mountain. The therapists are wonderful and very personable. It's a little pricey but well worth every penny. I'd recommend not parking in the first lot you arrive at the spa - keep driving around and you will get front row parking. Swim suits are a good idea if you're not overly comfortable in the communal pool. (especially for the ladies.)

I love this place! The short drive out from downtown Santa Fe is worth it. All of the staff, from the receptionists to the masseurs/masseuses are friendly and knowledgeable. It's utterly addictive to have a soak and then a massage. And yes, it comes very close to the Japanese hot-spring atmosphere that it strives for (and after spending two years in Japan, I feel confident speaking on that.) If you're not used to bathing without clothing, it might be better to go when swimsuits are required in the communal tubs, or rent a private tub. But that's the only thing that I'd say might throw first-time visitors.

My wife and I spent a spontaneous weekend in Santa Fe and happened onto this inn by chance. When we walked by and peeked in through the wrought iron gate, we just had to go in and see what was inside. It was charming! The grounds were well kept, quiet and very private. We felt like we were in a small pueblo village! Each room's door was painted a beautiful Santa Fe Blue (cross between sky blue and cobalt) and adorned with an adorable iron chili knockers and Indian tribes name- very intriguing. Well, we just couldn't help ourselves... so we inquired about a room in the office which had a lovely dining room/communial area combo complete with cream colored leather love seats and sheepskin throws. Really alluring! They had a lovely little room (actual it was quite spacious compared to most b&b's we've stayed in) which we felt fit our needs and so we stayed. It was one of the most intersting, fun and unique places we've enjoyed in a long time. Santa Fe is an amazing city and this little out of the way inn really created a memorable impression to enhance our visit. The walls of the building were a foot and a half thick of adobe (mud) brick. The electrical wires were on the outside of this massive structure because when originally built there was no electricity! Our room had a wonderful kiva fireplace that was so easy to use and made the room glow with beautiful light- very romantic. Anytime we stay in Santa Fe, I will definately take the time to seek this inn out- it was worth every penny (very afforadable as well).

I stay at this Inn exclusively when I'm in Santa Fe. I am an artist and I travel to Santa Fe on business frequently. Pueblo Bonito is full of charm and atmosphere- that's why I love it. I feel at home and comfortable with the facility and staff- very relaxed and personable. The grounds are lovely and it is quiet. Massive historic adobe archeticture, red brick paths, large shade trees, quaint rod iron gates to the street- it is just "dreamy"! Viga ceilings, kiva fireplaces, comfortable beds, mexican tiled baths- authentic old southwest ambiance. I always look forward to my visit to Santa Fe and Pueblo Bonito b&b.

Great atmosphere- friendly, comfortable, relaxed, inviting and romantic. Great archeticture- massive adobe two story building, authentic outside orno, kiva fireplaces and vigas in rooms. Great Value Package- we spent $130 in August for two of us (can you believe it!) for our room, breakfast, margaritas, parking, hot tub, laundry facility, DSL internet access, newspaper, and cable tv. Great find- I'm staying here again and again and again. It's easy, romantic, and my kind of Santa Fe.

My husband and I traveled with our 5 year old and there was so much to see and do to entertain us all. It was a great trip and we will definately return. Thanks Pueblo Bonito- we loved our stay!

Pueblo Bonito B&B was just the perfect place to stay in Santa Fe! We celebrated our honeymoon at this delightfully romantic and intriguing inn! Our room was spacious and comfortable with a crackling pine kiva fireplace, newly installed vanity and old world charm! I loved every moment we were there. The people we met were wonderful and the whole atmosphere was very light and friendly. I couldn't have picked a more memorable place our special time together. It was a great value as well (breakfast, afternoon margaritas, wood for fireplace, hot tub, parking and DSL in every room!).

I have enjoyed several places to stay in Santa Fe over the past 20 years and I can honestly say this is my favorite! Pueblo Bonito is the most charming of them all. The atmosphere is authentic Santa Fe; the rooms are clean and warm and uniquely decorated; the staff is knowledgeable and personable; the location is great; and the room rates are very reasonable. Each room has a kiva fireplace and private bath -which is a must when I travel. The hot tub facility is always appreciated and afternoon margaritas time is a great time to meet other interesting people from all over the world! This is my home away from home!

We had a wonderful time at this inn. It was located near all the sites in Santa Fe and some great restaurants nearby. The building was very charming and indicative of the Old Southwest Era! The rooms were comfortable, clean and had the Santa Fe ambiance my wife and I were looking for. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We'd highly recommend this place to friendly, relaxed people who enjoy the Old Southwest.

10K is an amazing place where one can relax and wash away the worries of the day. I enjoyed the private and communal baths while my better half enjoyed a massage. We then retreated to our private bath where we watch the sun set, the stars shine and our memories of Santa Fe become legendary. The staff was accomodating, the facilities were fine, and the prices were reasonable. Spa services seemed a little steep, but the baths were not.

Reading that ten thousand waves was one of the US top ten spas I was excited to try out their services. The location was ideal and staff were helpful and accomodating. However, inside the facilities need updating. Many areas seem dated and worn out, especially in the dressing room. In the individual spa rooms they did not accomodate a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Each spa room is decorated in hard wood which makes for alot of noise when the spa personnel are walking around. Nothing was within reach of the spa person so she had to tromp around to get everything. The spa person that I had for the facial spent more time talking about leaving the spa for another career and very little time massaging and pampering the guest. Also, the spa bed was very uncomfortable and the sheets felt thin and worn. Very disappointing experience. Would not return.
