DO NOT GO HERE.
It may be convenient to the strip, but they get incredibly backed up and are extremely rude. The Hispanic girl (I say Hispanic, as there was a girl of Asian decent there as well) at the front counter was rude when I needed to get to my wife, stating that 'We're too busy to let you back to her' Wait, WHAT!?!? Then she proceeds to get upset with me because I'm frustrated. And why are you in Health 'Care'....??? She became very standoffish with me.

The Doctor prescribed my wife the incorrect drugs and the only reason we went here was because it was early and close to the strip. She didn't see the doctor for nearly 2 hours on a Thursday morning right after they opened. Pay the extra cab fare and get away from this place!!!

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Please say this was helpful if I have at all helped in your decision.

First, I would not give them any stars...the system is forcing me to give them at least 1.

We went to the center in early February 2009. They required a $100 deposit, even though they were in my medical network and urgen care centers only require $30 co-pay which was on my ID card.

As my fiance was sick, we gave them the deposit.

When we got home, it took them 2+ months of my health care provider and me requesting them to bill for the services. Finally in April they submitted the charges which my health care provider paid within 7 days.

They billed it as an office visit, so I only owed $15 and should be refunded $85.

Again, my healthcare company and I called to request they reimburse me.

I was told at the end of May that the request for the check had been issued and the check should be mailed out in 2 weeks.

It is now June 29th and today I was told that my paperwork was submitted in May, but the check request would not be issued until June. As it is the 2nd to the last day in June, I asked if this had been done or would be done by tomorrow. The woman said she did not know.

When I asked for the person who owns them, I was told that I would have to speak to her manager first, the woman who would not submit my initial claim and the woman who told me in May that the check would be mailed out in 2 weeks. I said no thank you.

They never had an intention of billing my insurance company, something they are contracted to do within 60 days of a claim. If they go over 60 days than they are supposed to eat the cost of the bill as they are contracted to submit the expense and if they don't, it is their fault.

This whole thing is a sham to get money from the healthcare company and me. The contracted amount they received from the healthcare company was about $65.

THEY ARE A RIP OFF!

My daughter began having symptoms of a UTI on a flight from Florida to Las Vegas. We asked at the airport for the closet 24 hour urgent care center. We were given the name of Harmon Medical Center. We arrived at about 8:30 p.m. After waiting over an hour my daughter had to go to the bathroom. She had not gone since the airplane because it was so painful. I requested a specimen cup because she needed to have a culture. The women at the front desk refused. They said when they were ready for her they would make her drink water so she could produce another sample. I thought that was especially cruel because she is only eight years old and it was painful for her to urinate. In addition, I know from her frequent bouts of UTI's that the most accurate results of a culture come from urine that has been in the bladder for as long as possible. The woman at the front desk did not like my attitude and picked up the phone to call security. I said that was fine I wanted to know where the closest hospital was because I had lost any confidence that this establishment could properly diagnose and treat my daughter. At that point a nurse came to the front with a specimen cup. I asked if this meant that they would culture the specimen and treat her for the UTI. I was told "Yes." My daughter provided the sample and we waited another hour. At that point as we were waiting in the lobby perusing the vending machine options because we had not eaten since we left Florida at 2:00 p.m., a security guard came over and asked us to leave! I was shocked! I asked for the urine sample to take to the hospital to be cultured and they refused. So at approximately 10:30 p.m. me and my eight year old were in a cab on our way to Desert Springs Hospital. I wish we had known to just go straight there. Everyone was so nice!!! We quickly saw a nurse and a doctor soon after that. They were so understanding and accommodating. They even called in my daughter's prescriptions so we would not have to wait long at the pharmacy. Desert Springs Hospital is not far off the strip and the care is far superior than Harmon Medical Center. Don't waste your time and money on Harmon.

WHILE THIS MEDICAL CENTER HANDLES WORKMANS COMP CLAIMS FOR THE ENTIRE CITY, THIS LEADS TO LONG WAITS FOR SERVICE. EVEN WHEN WE HAD AN APPOINTMENT, WE STILL HAD TO WAIT FOR OVER 3 HRS TO GET IN TO SEE THE DOCTOR

I used to see Dr. Padre at this Harmon Medical Center for years before she moved to work in Emergency. She's one of the best doctore I've ever had. She's very professional and care about all of her patients. The staff's very friendly and very knowlegeable of what they are doing. Harmon Medical Center is also a quick care center and take walk-in patient on a daily basis.
