from the start my stay at sandpiper honorable. The management lies they have no security but clam they do. there has been multiple break-ins to mailboxes and apartments. multiple mailboxs have doors missing
if you want it fixed they charge $150 fee
i have been waiting for 4 months for mine to get fixed
i wouldn't recommend

Although my stay at Sandpiper was very short, I could go on and on about the negative things that happened while I was renting on thier property. First impression upon move in was exceptional. The staff was very pleasant and seemed willing to assist in anyway possible to make for a wonderful rental experience. The day I moved into my apartment I walked into a mess. You pay a cleaning deposit which means the apartment should have been clean upon my move in, NOT THE CASE. There was paint dust all over the kitchen and bathroom floors, dead insects lay on thier backs on the counter tops and the floors. It was disgusting. I informed the office immediately and was assured theyd get someone out that day, this of course did not happen. No one came to spray for 4 days. From that day on I knew that Id be leaving as soon as my lease was up. Water shut offs happened nearly once a week without notice. There is nothing worse than waking up to get ready for work only to find that you can not shower. Neighbors coming and going at all hours blasting loud music and speeding trhough the parking lots. What a joke. I would highly suggest that before renting from this property that you do your homework!

Horrible Management!!

When I moved in to these apartments in early 2005 the office staff was friendly, nice quiet neighbors and the grounds were well kept. The family that owned the complex ended up selling it to Apple Management based out of California, and with that came a new, incompitent, rude office staff. Rent is now only accepted via money order because the people they have started to let move in are apparently unable to be trusted with checks.. not to mention the rent increase every 6 months!

The utilities are another issue, see, the reason I believe the for the past owners selling the complex was due to the complex starting to fall apart. Lately, at least once per week the water has been shut off WITHOUT NOTICE because the main pipes keep breaking and leaking.. even so, the cost for water is still charged in the rent.

I have heard several other reports from other tenants that there is a major problem with black mold in the walls arround the showers. There have also been complaints about noisy tenants and use of illegal substances through the complex, maintenance entering the apartments unscheduled, lost paperwork resulting in double payments, roof tiles hanging off of some of the units, and so many other problems I just can't list all of them!

2 years ago I would have recomended this complex to anyone and everyone but now I recomend this complex to NO ONE! The place is falling apart at the seams!
